This is the first public place Iβve visited named after the love of Queen Victoria of England. I visited when it was perfect weather. The garden is well cared for. All sorts of people were enjoying their company, or solitude. It was peaceful and colourful. There was even a mother and very young girl beautifully dressed, waving her wand with bubbles floating in the sun across the flower beds. Magic!

It's a lovely park with plenty of space to walk and take a break from the busy surrounding streets. There are many trees and flowers that make for a relaxing atmosphere and make the cityscape more beautiful. It's worth noting that the entrances to this park from Queens Street are very steep. Overall, it's a lovely location.

An oasis on peace and quietness. Went there on a full on day tip to Auckland and since i had a book i stopped to read for a while. Ended up seeing so many cute couples and people just chilling, reading and relaxing and ended up doing some friends with travellers that were around.

So beautiful park to walk, spend the afternoon, read, or take a look of the city. It has several historical monuments along the path. A nice fountain and itβs always clean. Its amazing gardens are full of flowers and green grass. In the background, you can see the Auckland buildings or the university on the other side. Wherever you sit, youβll have a beautiful and different view. The bandstand is another highlight, and also the old trees. So many birds also. Highly recommended to walk around and enjoy its peace and freshness.

Was staying in downtown Auckland and walked around the city. Came across Albert Park and what a nice city park. Large, majestic trees everywhere, walking paths with a little elevation involved in parts of the park, flower gardens, statues, and more. A great way to spend an hour just walking around or find a bench to sit for a bit. There are iconic views of the Sky Tower and the rest of the Auckland Skyline!

I was in search of somewhere quiet to escape the noise of the city and drink my coffee. This park fit the bill perfectly. Plenty of bench seats. No loud childrenβs playground. Serenity.

Pretty little park, well located in the centre of town. Well looked after and maintained. Few seats around to sit and even admire the view. Few things to look at too. Definately well worth a look/visit.

We loved all the flowers, trees, and foliage with a large fountain in the middle. It's a great place for pictures. The only downside was that there were a few homeless people. They weren't a nuisance. There is also a geocache.

Beautiful inner city park behind Auckland Art Gallery. The University is on the other side of the park. I suggest starting here at the clock Tower and finishing at the Art Gallery if youβre walking. Or just enjoy relaxing anyway in the park as there are so many great spots to sit
