Being asian I care less about the decor when the food is this good, but the decor is inviting and relaxed.”

“Wandered in after browsing around the market today. Never been here before, but will definitely be going back again next time we’re out this way. The food was fabulous. Loved our meals; cheese omelette, mushroom croque and beef dish. Coffee was full-bodied. Big pot of tea for my mother in law (made her very happy) and the banana milkshake was fresh and yummy. Service was faultless. The couple on the table next to us were “complimentary regulars”. Perfect experience, thank you. 10/10 :-)”

“I hadn't my breakfast and wasn't planning for lunch, so I thought why not to have brunch at Goode Brothers, I ordered mushroom burger, onion rings and pineapple juice for me. The taste were amazing, it satisfied my cravings for carbs and suger. I enjoyed it with lovely sunny and windy weather bcz I was seating outside. If you are vegetarian and don't know what to order, try this mashroom burger at Goode Brothers. It was lovely experience to have brunch there. Highly recommend. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. Everything was 10/10.”

“We did the pasta making class tonight and it was incredible!! Eloise, Luke and Jess looked after us so well the whole night, they were super personable and knowledgeable. It was heaps of fun and amazing value for money. We got so much food and two cocktails, plus our homemade pasta to take home all covered in our class cost. “Visited The Roll yesterday and tried Bun Cha, Stir fried Beef PHO, Broken Rice with Pork Ribs and Vietnamese Pancake. The food was fresh and full of flavour. I was especially impressed with Bun Cha, the meatballs was so tender and smoky, perfectly with the dipping sauce. The Broken Rice was fantastic too. We were all really happy with the meal. The staff and service were wonderful. Definitely recommend checking it out!”

“First German restaurant for me and I have to say: I will come back. Me and my partmer had the plate A and even if it looks big, if you’re hungry don’t worry you’ll eat everything. Loved the sauce and the smashed potatoes, reminds me of my grandma’s one. I like the fact that you have tomatoes, coleslaw and other salads on free service. We also had the tab german beer and nothing to add you know just a tab beer. But the owner is really kind and gave us a good experience. Boyfriend here, I’ve been to Berlin and the taste is familiar. I vouch for this only german restaurant in West Auckland. Traditional I love it”

We had tomatoes and ceviche for starters, then rib eye and ribs for mains with cauliflower for sides. Every dish was delicious and good size! Super enjoyable!”

“First time visiting this restaurant tucked away in Takapuna. Glad I had my local son with me to guide me to parking and then the restaurant. Our waitress was wonderful. We started with chicken skewers and the pork belly. Both delicious. Mains were a t-bone steak and costillas (beef short ribs). Portions are generous and came with a side and a sauce. Everything was cooked to perfection and delicious. So much food we had to ask for containers to take food home. Our waitress brought us separate containers for the salads so they didn't wilt. She also provided tongs to pick the salad up. Just felt she went the extra mile for us. Highly recommend although someone told me earlier in the day it was expensive. This carnivore mum was delighted with the meal and thought excellent value for money.”

“Perfect, ordered steak eggs and chips with slaw for 30$ and it was one of the best steaks I have ever tasted really big meal struggled to eat it all. Great service aswell thank you from 2 Wellington lads. We will be back when we are here again.”
