   Expensive for what you get. Understaffed, still boasting metro top 50 from 2020 to 2021 on their website which is clearly not the case anymore, food was way under seasoned and everyone at the table had to add salt. Had to ask for drinks, and everything came at the same time (entrees and mains) Its not all bad though.steak was cooked perfectly, broccolini was delicious, presentation was good however everything came with the same tomato sauce swipe. Truffle fries were crispy and very tasty.

   Booked with first table and got 50% off the bill. We got the Eye fillet and the Lamb Rump. The eye fillet was cooked to my liking and it was tender. The lamb rump was also delicious however for me, it had a strong smell to it. The fries were a classic a yum. We were impressed by our waiter, didn’t get his name, but his service was incredible. We felt like he really cared about our dining experience from the moment we walked in and to our table.

   This was my third time here and I must say that the food and service is consistently 10/10! This restaurant is a great place to get a steak - always grilled to perfection on the outside (and you can see why from the flames that can be seen from the kitchen) and perfectly tender on the inside. Their starters and sides always hit the spot too! All the food that is pictured plus two glasses of wine came to just over $100 per person for my friend and I. Thanks for the wonderful dining experience and will definitely be back again!

   Absolutely loved our dining experience here! The service was exceptional — the staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. Every dish was delicious and beautifully presented. The salmon was perfectly seared with crispy skin and tender, juicy meat inside, while the steak was cooked to perfection — full of flavor and just the right doneness. The sides, especially the roasted cauliflower and sautéed mushrooms, were also amazing and complemented the mains really well. Overall, a wonderful evening with great food and great service. Highly recommend this place!

   Gorgeous restaurant with fantastic mood lighting. Service was impeccable from the initial welcome to the food servers. Food – oh my yummy! We had tomatoes and ceviche for starters, then rib eye and ribs for mains with cauliflower for sides. Every dish was delicious and good size! Super enjoyable!

   we ordered the petit ribeye, cognac peppercorn sauce, lamb rump, grilled mushrooms & potato gratin. No ccomplaints on the qualty, all the dishes were tasty, but unsurprisingly the price to portion was not great. In the end, i give it a 3* (i may return), as there was nothing to really differentiate wynward grill.

   We were blown away at how great this restaurant was! We ordered a few entrees, mains, and sides and all of the food was so delicious - the steak is especially tender and flavorful (we got the elk and eye fillet). We felt like we got a great value and both agreed it was the best meal we had over the course of our month in New Zealand! On top of that, the service is absolutely exceptional and the entire staff is friendly and attentive. Highly recommend making a reservation!!
