“Went here for my very first haircut at Wellington and had such a good experience. I got there 10 minutes early and my haircut started right on time, which was awesome. I got the student price too (just had to show my ID), which was a nice bonus. Jane, who I think is a junior stylist, did my cut and she was great. I showed her some pictures and she did exactly what I asked for. When I said I wanted it a bit shorter, she adjusted it without any fuss. She really listened and did a great job. Walked out feeling super happy with my haircut. Definitely recommend!”

“Great true gentleman barber. Takes time and care in the cut. Plus you won’t get charged upwards of $100 like in these other “modern” barbers that are springing up everywhere. Value for money with traditional charm. If you have time, get a shave. It’s an experience, relaxation and meditation in itself”

“There are 2 dairys (convienamce store) that sell food items in Hataitai. Milk, eggs tea, bags ... all your common things. This is the bigger of the 2. Also they sell beer and wine. A Lotto counter is there as well. Staff are friendly. Some things are expensive like meat, but if you are in need of something quick and don't want to go to Kilbirnie supermarkets this is convenient.”

The cheese scones are pretty good too, with a nice crunch on the outside but the matcha latte is so good!”
