   A sales rep from Vivo called me today which sparked my memory of my awful experience at this salon. I went in expecting a gorgeous set of highlights. I was recommended a balayage and assumed the stylist knew what they were talking about. I went on a journey which seemed to go on forever. Once my hair was washed, the hairdresser brushed it and I have never experienced so much pain in my life. Right at the end, the hairdresser convinced me that my hair looked phenomenal, but a day later, everyone I knew thought it looked the exact same and I realized my hair colour was still the same. After the pain, hours wasted and huge amount of money I paid, I do not recommend!! I have never had so much hair loss and my hair has never been as dry as it was the few weeks after this service. This was a long time ago, but the continuous phone calls from the sales reps has made me finally give my opinion.

   DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! Booked in a cut, half head of foils and blow style for my daughter’s first ever hair appointment for her sweet 16th. And it was an absolute disaster. She sat for 6 hours!!! The colourist/stylist/hairdresser?? Bombed her colour! MAJORLY!! Had to correct it, only for her hair to end up looking virtually the same colour as when she walked in. Her “cut” was nothing short of a cbf chop!! The cut is crooked and looks like something you’d expect from someone in training. And that’s being nice. So hugely disappointed in the execution! It looks NOTHING like the inspiration pics given. And I absolutely regret going choosing VIVO!! Never ever ever again!! CLIENT BEWARE

From the moment I arrived, she was welcoming and attentive, creating a comfortable and positive environment. Arti provided thoughtful recommendations on both hair colour and products tailored to my needs, and her efficiency did not compromise the quality of her work. The haircut she gave me was exceptional—well-suited to my features and easy to maintain. I received numerous compliments at work, which is a testament to her skill. I highly recommend Arti to anyone seeking high-quality, professional hair services.

   Here's an updated review: "1/5 stars - Extremely Poor Experience at Vivo Salon I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with my experience at Vivo Salon. Firstly I’m not happy with your service the colour i want i didn’t get same colour and after 2 wash my clouer look like like white or some kind of green that i first told to lady i don’t want white after this thing happened to me i call to them no one pick my call and another week i call them again and she told can you send the picture i did same time the picture i show the below this look like after one week and after that they call me and book the appointment with manager i told them I’m only available on Saturday they said no our manager only work in the week days i said okay. I take a half day leave from my work and i have a 18 month baby with me my appointment was 3.30pm I was there 3.20 and they talk me 3.45 and normally said our manager is already gone i didn’t say anything. They again took the picture of my hair and said we will talk to our manager. Now it’s begin a month now no call no response back. I spend 300$ which is totally waste and 4 hour time wasted. this is unprofessional, but it also wasted my time. To make matters worse, It's not just about the money; it's about the principle and the trust that's been broken. The lack of communication and organization at this salon is appalling. If the manager can't even be bothered to show up for a scheduled appointment, how can I trust them with my hair. I would advise to my others friends please don’t trust to the Vivo salon Lower Hutt. There are plenty of other reputable salons out there that actually value their customers' time and money. Needless to say, I will not be returning to Vivo Salon anymore.

   i would like to convey my beautiful hair experience i had with aarti,thank you very much for making me feel confident and giving me a new look,i never had these many compliments about my hair before ,she treated me so well from the very moment she got me to sit down,gave me so much knowledge about hair care and even asked me questions about how i looked after my hair and listened to my concerns,this was my second time at vivo i would definitely go back and i highly recommend to experience aarti’s magic hands
