“Our two families are across from Australia for Mum & Dads’ 60th Wedding Anniversary in Kapiti Village! We decided to eat in and so ordered 9 takeaway dishes from Canton Inn Takeaways & Restaurant - boy what an awesome meal. Great service as we preordered in the afternoon and it was all there packed and waiting for us on time! Each dish was absolutely delicious - great customer service and big friendly smiles. “After first reading some of the reviews I was a bit hesitant dining here. Well it was worth giving it a try. The service was excellent and the food delicious. We had the crispy wontons, garlic pepper chicken stir fry, coconut rice, and chicken satay. For me and my friend the portion size was perfect that I ate all of it which is surprising as most of the time cannot get through it all. We plan to go back before sadly leaving the area and do hope we receive the same service as our first time.”

“Just home from a family dinner at top jade restaurant. Havent been 4 years n years. It was delicious. Mum had pre-selected from menu on line and then ordered when we got there.food was excellent. “We have been here a lot over the past couple of decades. Each time a wonderful experience. Last night our table had a mix of steak / pork loin / fisherman’s baskets. All were fantastic! Cooked beautifully! I’m on a keto diet and was able to eat well with no issues, always a win when dining out!”

“Lovely Italian restaurant by the Wellington Bay. I had a working lunch here with some colleagues and we did enjoy great food and drinks. I tried the risotto and I love it. We also tried pizza, calamari, the bread, and gelato. The service is fast and the staff is friendly. It has beautiful view for sure. Parking can be a bit challenging.”

“The chef was so nice and welcoming. He confirmed my order: naan, dahl makhani, lamb achari, and rice. Cooked it fresh and when he forgot the samosas that were in the order, made those fresh too! Spice levels were perfect, not overpowering, and hit the spot!”

“Lived down the road from this place for nearly 2 years and finally decided to try it a few weeks ago. Came again tonight and was still as good as the last visit - best Thai food in town for sure! The servings were super generous and very well priced, in fact I was very pleasantly surprised at the amount of seafood in our dishes too! The food also came out very quick even though they seemed quite busy. The staff were very friendly - especially the Thai girl who was especially pro! We have definitely added this place to our frequent visit list.”

“This restaurant have an all you can eat concept, but you have to pay in advance before you can eat. Take whatever you want and you have to scale the pot on the cashier. You can choose the spiciness levels. As an ✨certified Asian✨, I choose very hot. After that, the staffs will cook your choice. Once it's done, the staff will bring your food the the table. Bowl was very big! Yeah, it was delicious and satisfying!”

“This place has been around for years use to walk past in my teens and use to order takeaways in my younger adult days. Now in my 40s we visited from Christchurch recently and stopped in for dinner, and owner was there and greeted us (swear she hasn’t aged). Food was delicious and plentiful we couldn’t eat it all so took some home. Support your local restaurant and this lovely family from the Hutt”

“I used to skip this restaurant because of its low rating, but it completely surprised me — I was wrong! This is my second time trying their dim sum, and I felt compelled to write a review. The portions are generous with plenty of fillings, and everything tastes fresh and absolutely delicious. The salted egg yolk custard bun is a must-try, and the polo char siew bun were tasty. ( Sorry, the photos of the buns weren’t attached.)”

“Great value of my money! The big size can easily feed two ppl. Batter fish is fresh and crunchy. If you want to eat healthy, choose broccoli and pan-fried chicken. If you like spicy, don’t forget the chilly oil which is the game changer.”
