“Tuatara Kids has been such a friendly and supportive childcare centre. We came from a much larger centre which was more chaotic and busy. Coming into Tuatara was such a breath of fresh air, the kids are noticeably happy and have a lot of fun together. The kaiako are so warm and welcoming and we have always had a seamless experience with the administrative side of things. Because it’s a smaller centre there’s a really nice community feel to it and we’ve gotten to know a lot of lovely families through our child’s friends at TK. Can’t rate highly enough!”

“First time I have shopped at Placemakers and what a breath of fresh air compared to the utterly hopeless other large format building supply retailers in Porirua. The staff at Placemakers actually know what they are talking about, they are organized, helpful and offer customer service willingly - instead of trying to avoid customers which is what you get from staff at M10 and Bunnings. The drive through actually has room for vehicles - another improvement on the other two hopeless outfits. Placemakers is where I will be spending my DIY shopping in the future. Wish I had gone there years ago.”

“What a cool little spot! Totally unsuspecting that what's inside is so awesome. The food was absolutely outstanding. We all got their wellington on a plate burger which by the way, was my top of the competition. Great quality food and the drinks were great too, huge selection of beers. “Peninsula Early Learning has been such a supportive environment for both my daughter and our whānau. The kaiako are all incredible teachers and so kind. They always have the child’s interest at the forefront of decisions. The ratios are great and the weekly nature walk programme and quarterly trips exceeded my expectations. My daughter absolutely loves being able to explore the local beaches or community on these trips. We have loved being part of the preschool community and feel very lucky to have found this beautiful space for our tamariki.”
