Poor customer service at Upper Hutt store. If any issues with the product they are selling even soon after you have purchased, the staff won’t entertain you, they say to contact the customer care of the that particular company. They don’t accept responsibility for the product they sell. Please be mindful of that when you choose the store.

Great Service, Bought some crockery and cutlery for the office and had some excellent assistance to find some additional items that were thankfully on sale.
Obviously good prices when there is a sale on! Ample parking on same level as shop. Briscoes & I play a wee game where I walk into the shop and go to where the item should be and there is an empty shelf. 'Ha ha!' says I, I must have walked past it on one of those 'door buster' islands in the aisles. Spend a few minutes looking round each pile - no go. Look up the shop on line and recheck UH still shows it has stock. Hunt down a staff member and ask. They don't know and suggest I do what I have just done. Several things occur to me, the most appropriate being 'go check down the back of the shop near the kitchen tidies' and behold! There it is! One model of air fryer amongst all the bench top ovens. Just as well it was half price and I'm not in a hurry! Not the first time this shop has set up this game for me.
I enjoy This Briscoes particularly because the staff are friendly and the store always clean and tidy. Not cluttered!!! Therefore Not tge claustrophobic feel. Parking is awesome too.
Store was a bit of a mess today in the bathroom/bedding area. Unfortunately I didn't find what I needed, but usually they are fairly well stocked. Great prices. Staff numbers in general seem quite low. Often a bit of a wait at the counter. Wouldn't imagine the often young staff could help me with product knowledge much. No offense to the workers, just shows that Briscoes don't want to pay their staff much.
OK but prices all over the place. Staff need to learn they need customers so give them priority over stocking shelves
Good selections, great prices on sale, friendly staff
There was far too longer wait as there was only one person serving the customers. I wanted a suzey replacement laundry washing holder. There weren't any so I brought the whole equipment then after I had payed for it he told me they had some in Petone. The discounts are good.
