“Love this place. Full of great ideas. Love that you slowly walk around what seems like a circular tower inside. Plenty of ideas for anyone doing up theor homes, or just needing inspiration. The staff are wonderfully friendly and attend to your needs or leave you to it. Whatever you prefer. Wish I coukd come here more. “First time I have shopped at Placemakers and what a breath of fresh air compared to the utterly hopeless other large format building supply retailers in Porirua. The staff at Placemakers actually know what they are talking about, they are organized, helpful and offer customer service willingly - instead of trying to avoid customers which is what you get from staff at M10 and Bunnings. The drive through actually has room for vehicles - another improvement on the other two hopeless outfits. Placemakers is where I will be spending my DIY shopping in the future. Wish I had gone there years ago.”

The store is very big and had most household items so it's a one stop shop for big shopping trip. Excellent place, would recommend it for SALE shopping!”
