   A few months ago we purchased a set of b’fast bar stools from Hunter home Furniture, Lower Hutt. As is usual with Hunters , the service and support from Stew and the team was outstanding. A few weeks later we contacted Stew again as one of the stools had rubbed against the sharp edge of our b’fast bar and the cover had begun to split.His response was immediate. Stew went to great lengths to find replacement covering for us that would match the existing stools. He kept us fully informed throughout the process and handled our query with friendly professionalism. We have dealt with Hunters in the past and will continue to deal with them again. They constantly offer high quality service , support and of course, superior quality home furnishings.

Much of the furniture is made in South East Asia and priced higher than many other stores with similar Asian mass produced furniture

   We purchased a leather suite from the Ngauranga store 2½ years ago. The original price was $11,000 although we bought it on sale. At the time of purchase the seats appeared well padded and were very comfortable, however over time they have slumped (about 6cm in places) and the padding has flattened, making the suite look lumpy and feel extremely uncomfortable to sit on. Upon querying this recently we were advised that this is 'normal' wear and tear and what would be expected of a suite of this composition (feather and foam). Unfortunately there was no discussion about the composition and how it might wear when we purchased the suite - had there been we definitely would have thought twice. I'm posting this review as while I have suggested to the person I have been dealing with that salespeople are clear to future purchasers as to how a suite might deteriorate, I'm not confident that this will happen and I don't want anyone else to make the same expensive mistake.

   Absolutely brilliant service from Stewart at your Lower Hutt store. Professional and friendly and provided great follow-up. For no fault of anyone we had great difficulty getting what we wanted but Stewart saved the day with his never give up attitude and we have exactly what we want. Brilliant
