“Kia Ora, I visited pita pit porirua this previous weekend and my experience was delightful to say the least. From the amazing costumer service to the pita itself I was satisfied. I had a punctual young lady serving me on Saturday around 11/12 ish. she was able to hold eye contact and was smiling throughout her shift. spoke to me with kindness and made my food up to a high standard. :) thank you Pita pit.”

“Another hidden gem of a Cafe off Molesworth Street, in the old DIA building ground floor. The coffee is strong and consistently good. Food options including daily fresh fluffy cheese scones are excellent. Healthy options are also available from helpful staff. Prices are very reasonable.”

“This is such a banger! The reviews doesn't show justice to this amazing eatery! Located on the other side of the other food court, this place is quick with their service, very polite and really able to bring the native Filipino taste! My fiance being a Filipina herself and picky with her food, she managed to really love it and have a bloody decent craving acquired. For only 30 dollars (very cheap compared to Auckland), this is definitely worth every penny.”

“Amazing! We had the high brunch which was delicious, dainty, generous and everything I always wanted in a high tea without all the sugar over load of a usual high tea. I loved having so many little savoury treats, fruit and chia pudding. Also a lovely quiet atmosphere so we could talk easily to each other. Total win in every way!”

“I must say Nandos Porirua has made the food so good, it felt like the original taste. Chicken was so moist and succulent, it just melted in mouth. Chips were addictive. Looking to try coleslaw next time to see if it has redeemed the same original taste. Thanks Margo for a great service. Although it longer than normal but it worth the wait.”

Great staff, well bar one who works Saturdays (she is rough around the edges, makes calls during meal prep and is rude) she charges you for nuts but gives free nuts to handsome caucasian men. Fresh food, great place to eat, affordable. Healthy, convenient and a lunch time fav. 5 stars!”

“Our sever was amazing, very polite young gentleman. The food was delicious, served hot fresh and very quickly. Couldn't fault anything at all. Highly recommend for a family dinner. Kids loved the both the green tea and apple tea. If you have never had apple tea, strongly suggest you give it a go :) Next time we are in Tawa we definitely will be back.”

“Well well well … what an awesome surprise. Acting out our daughter’s recommendation, we decided to try a well place Wellington shoreline cafe! Opting for just a light Saturday lunch, our party of four were welcome by extremely friendly and pleasant staff. We decided to take up dinning seating on their lower enclosed side deck, that rests inches off the lapping waters, providing a tranquil and delightful near eye level view of the bay. Establishment staff are courteous and informed, certainly in our opinion. For out light lunch, the fish and chips (with a glass of wine) for $30 was well plated, and undoubtably a larger portion than what we were expecting. Whether the plated portion of two (non-oily) decent sized pieces of deliciously-flakey, catch of the day and a proper crispy-crispy serving of fries or their spicy chicken burgers and accompanying fries and milkshakes … our plates were clean by all, not a crumb, not a morsel left-over or wasted!! We will be back, come summer to enjoy the outdoor dinning! Well done crew!! Truly a great find!”

The accompanying french fries were crispy and seasoned just right. One of the standout features of Nando's was their impressive variety of sauces. Each one brought a unique and delicious flavor profile to the meal. It was a treat to experiment and find the perfect combination to complement my dish. “Denny’s Porirua – Comfort, Consistency & Nostalgia I grew up visiting Denny’s in Auckland as a child, and walking into the Porirua Denny’s brought that same sense of nostalgia rushing back. I love that even after all these years, nothing has really changed — the menu, the plates, the atmosphere — it’s all wonderfully consistent and familiar. The staff at the Porirua location were kind and attentive, ensuring we were well looked after. While it can be a little pricey, I find it’s definitely worth it for a meal thats made with care and consistency. When I've visited, the restaurant is always clean, tidy, and usually nice and quiet, which makes for a relaxing dining experience. A classic that continues to deliver comfort food, good service, and that timeless Denny’s feel. Highly recommend the Porirua location!”
