Great customer service. I love my snack box — thank you very much. They gave me two drumsticks instead of one big piece since they had run out, but it was still satisfying and great value.
This is the chicken and cashews we bought. It should be called celery and chicken. So much celery it was just bizarre. A tiny bit would have been ok but where were the other veges? Celery is not the nicest vegetable. Really disappointed as my friend was here from out of town. Embarrassing.
Partner ordered “Honey Chicken” (she did order the wrong food item as she thought she was ordering the little sweet chicken nibbles they have in the choices smorgasbord) We would’ve been happy to eat what was given but really Joes Food World? I don’t think any of your customers would’ve eaten what you served up in that container last night (09/06/25). Looked a complete mess!! A LOT of batter that filled this container. Spoke to owners and asked for a refund or maybe if we could get what my partner was supposed to order, and of course they couldn’t help as food was already taken from the store which is understandable, but if this is their Honey chicken I highly don’t recommend!!!

Normal all of yhe food is hot the chips were Luke warm and the chicken was ok but a bit spicy not Normally spicy but it was kind of ok
At close to five bucks ($4.90) for a piece of fish I was was expecting some good fish given the price of surrounding shops that were unfortunately closed. Maybe the red flag was they were the only ones opened. What I got was chewy Paper thin fish dryer than the Sahara desert. Chips were slightly better Their smorgasbord Chinese is okay the one time I had it, but if you want good fnc shan Lee or jville fish supply up the road is a safer option
First and last time we’ll get food from this place. We ordered the sweet and sour lemon chicken and waited 40 minutes for it whilst customers who ordered after us were served. When we got the food home, it was huge, chunks of dry chicken with a tiny dribble of sweet but otherwise flavourless sauce and greasy soggy batter, without rice. For $19, we would expect rice to come with it and even if it doesn’t, the staff could have warned us. Totally gross.
The worist fish chipi have in nz, chips without any seasoning, fish is recooked, i can see the fish with very dark and old batter, i Am sure it is not a fresh cook fish, please dont try this shop
