“NZ Post had me at my wits end; after trying to get a parcel delivered for over two months to Auckland. No matter how many calls or emails to NZ post, I always got through to a different ‘operator’ making promise after promise, but no results. I decided to pop-in to the Grey Street branch in Tauranga where I explained my frustration to Sue (don't know her surname). Without any hesitation she jumped in to bat for me - Two days later she called to advise on the progress, and two days thereafter to let me know that the parcel had been delivered – what a star. Sue - even though you had nothing to do with this shipment (sent from Napier), you went out of your way to solve the problem for me, you are awesome! - and your company needs more staff like you. Fantastic customer service, you feel incredibly welcomed when you walk into this local business. The "New Management" have been in place for just over a year, and they have managed to restore Cherrywood Post Shop to its former glory. No easy task, after a rough few years under a particular (former) owner. (Read: Nothing short of a bloody miracle haha). The wider community of Otumoetai couldn't be more pleased with this change!
