I saw this Taxi parked up and asked the driver (Karim) if it was possible for him to pick us up in an hour a bring us to lunch. He was more than happy to oblige and we exchanged numbers. He was bang on time and shared his top tips on activities along the way. We arranged to meet him a couple of hours later and he again arrived spot on time to bring us to the ferry. The 10:30 mail run over to kawau island is a wonderful way to spend a day and get to see this beautiful hidden gem.
