   I posted an overnight parcel for a birthday present. It never arrived at the destination. One week later (after numerous lengthy calls with the 0800 number with the tracking code), the parcel was finally delivered - back to my own address. The customer service person on the phone told me the parcel never left TGA. I went to the post shop to ask for a refund for the postage and the box packaging, to be told "we don't do refunds, call the 0800 number". So again lengthy phone calls, emails to various people and they finally told me, "oh we don't do refunds, go back to the store you bought it from". This is a scam. NZ consumer law says if you pay for a service that is not provided you are entitled to a refund. Simple really, and who has the time to spend hours on the phone chasing $15. No wonder NZ Post is failing, these people at the Cherrywood store are as dishonest as they are incompetent. re-your response - I have already spent 2 hours (not exaggerating) on your 0800 number. If you actually read my complaint. A reasonable response, I would expect, would be to apologise for the inconvenience, ask how you can make this right, to which I would reply "that's OK, just refund the $15", end of story. But to reply with the suggestion that I ring your god forsaken 0800 number yet again is not acceptable. The Consumer Guarantees Act makes it clear I am entitled to a refund.

   Such a fabulous experience, every time. With helpful, knowledgable and friendly staff; it's very convenient to pop in and sort something. Fantastic customer service, you feel incredibly welcomed when you walk into this local business. The "New Management" have been in place for just over a year, and they have managed to restore Cherrywood Post Shop to its former glory. No easy task, after a rough few years under a particular (former) owner. (Read: Nothing short of a bloody miracle haha). The wider community of Otumoetai couldn't be more pleased with this change! Keep up the amazing work, team!

   Not good service, they tried to send my parcel to the incorrect destination when I asked them to correct it, the lady said it was too difficult to redo the label and I had to write overtop of the printed label. I asked if there was a difference in price and it was $6 cheaper to send it to the correct destination but she was unable to give me a refund. Please check where they are sending your parcels!!

   Very slow service. Not enough staff and slow processes. In order to get a courier bag, I had to wait for 5 people to be served! Then you can finally address it! Go to Matua Foodmarket, courier bags are all out on display meaning you can write on it straight away and only have to go to the counter once. Painless!!

   Awful service. Discriminatory. If I could give a zero star review I would. Not only are they a discriminatory buisness, some of the staff are rude, smug and condescending. The owner can't even address these reviews with an individual message to the shoddy business practices being brought up in these reviews. Go spend your money somewhere else, at business that actually cares about their fellow humans.

   Having visited this post shop many times in the past and always received excellent customer service from the previous management and team and always with a small. The new owners have proved themselves to be extremely rude and very discriminatory. V Disappointed and would rather travel extra kilometres than support this business any further.
