I have always found the local staff friendly and knowledgeable. What my real gripe is with the senior management at NZ Post. Can anyone explain why they are closed between 12 noon and 1pm. Why today, is there only one counter open and people queuing up to 14 today. The PO at Girven road has closed and there is no PO shop at Bayfair.
I sent a parcel to oversea. I herard it will take a 6 -10 days. But it returned over 1 month later. The address is written by foreign letter. The country name was written in English at the parcel and address and name was Korean. I've checked tracking it many times. It stayed Auckland airport more than 1 month and screening my parcel. Disoppintment at too late. And they said will delay. I used to send a parcel by foreign language address with country name is in English. There was no problem till last. I asked to refund ,but refused by terms and agreement. If it is not allowed written foreign language should say to me or early back it to me. Terrible---. NZ post is getting higher fee and very little service. Getting worse. They answered to call a phone no. My kiwi friend called them and refused without about refund .
Friendly folks, no issues at all just had to wait a little but it's just a small place so understandable!

Staff who have been there the longest, have been nothing but helpful to me and always very courteous. I have noticed a definite change though, if I am not served by them, for about a yr to18 mnths
No idea why there are many negative comments, but I have been there so many times (as they are close by) and the customer service has always been excellent. Happy to rate them five stars. And the 4:30pm time is not in the hands of staff. I'm sure this is because of the mail collection cut off time for the area etc...
Not used to rude customer service but that is all I have received from this branch for the multiple times I have been in. Recommend that you go else where.
