“What an amazing place to stay! Owners are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Rooms are well maintained and serviced daily to a high standard. Great swimming pool with towels provided for the pool and a trip to the beach! Centrally located and great for trips all around Tauranga. I truly believe this is the best motel I've ever stayed in! “Top quality swim school for children from 6 months upwards. Great teachers and very friendly staff. i recommend this place very highly as it teaches children confidence and great technique from a very early age but is never pushy and your child learns and develops skills at their own pace. I especially enjoy the holiday programs which give a real boost to a child's learning journey. Lessons are half an hour each and when a child is confident going under and floating they no longer need a parent in the pool. The staff are very accommodating if you miss a lesson or have more than one child. And Liz van Welie is full of vision and ideas to make the school better and create and friendly and quality environment. There's a play area inside too. “We stayed here for a family wedding and it couldn't have been more enjoyable. The staff and management bent over backwards for us and we could not praise them enough for there efforts. The facilities were excellent and we had the privilege of staying in one of their newly renovated units. Thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in the thermal pools after a big day out exploring the area.”

“Very nicely appointed rooms. I don't tend to fall asleep easily but the bed, pillows, and linen were perfection and I slept better than I have in months. Location is great, a very short walk to shops, eateries etc... Bonus points for the fair trade hot drink provisions and the Forest and Bird toiletry products. Definitely recommend and would absolutely stay here again.”

“What a great campground! The pool and facilities are beautiful, well maintained and clean. I wasn't sure what to expect after the previous review but I was actually amazed with how nice and clean everything was and the bush behind makes it so tranquil! Lots of cool details including the swimwear dryer in the ladies changing room. Definitely keen to come back again!”

“Very beautiful lake view cottages, very nice resort. It has a hot spa, pool, chess, gym, and provides cycle/bikes also. Very cozy, clean and nice rooms, with all the facilities. The rooms are also very spacious. Very calm and ambient place. Definitely recommend by me if you are coming to Rotorua. It is 100% worth the price. It is idealistic first day if you are for even at night in Rotorua. The cottages a the lake front have very great views with a common, huge and open backyard. The cottage in which we stayed had included a well equipped kitchen and dining table. There was also an electric fireplace. At night, the views in backyard were very MAJESTIC and photogenic. Overall, the places of great value and a perfect place for a calm, quiet and peaceful weekend/holiday/stay.”

“I think it would have to be the best mitre 10 mega in the county. Im from Auckland but was doing repairs to my house in Tauranga . Your staff are just amazing .especially the two ladies named SHONA & ROBYN .They went out of there way to find every items i needed and also pointed out what would work best . I have a lot more work to do to the house and apartment but will only go to Mitre 10 Mega from now on . Those ladies should have a payrise ! Awesome experience at your store. Cheers Gerry”

“We were on a school trip, and the kids loved it. Warm enough to not get cold, but not too warm either. Lots of fun activities for kids, and saunas and spa pools are wonderful, a little bit expensive but well worth it. 5 stars from me”
