   Our daughter has been there for several years and each of the instructors she has had have been brilliant and helped her progress. She started out afraid to go into the pool and ended the first term having lots of fun, thanks to Alice!

   We've had our kids go through swim lessons over a number of years. LVW offer great training and it's great to see not only ours, but other kids as well as adults can confidence and ability in a skill that will save your life. If you're considering getting your kids into lessons or wanting to do competitive training, it's worth joining here.

   Brilliant place for all to learn to swim. All the coaches are great. My 3yr old grandson & 10yr old granddaughter both really love & benefit from their lessons. Highly recommend to all.

   Such a fabulous place to take your kids to swimming lessons. Been for five years now since the first was 6 months old. They have a purpose built space and my kids have flourished there. No forcing them to put heads under before they are ready. Ability based groupings not by age.

   Couldn't take my kids to lessons over lockdown last year. Many weeks went by and assumed we'd get a reimbursement (even a small amount would have helped) as government was helping business owners out. Owner flatly refused and even guilt tripped by saying they continued to support their kids six or seven extra curricular activities. I explained that we were struggling financially and could only afford one extra curricular activity. I was offered complementary lessons the next term. Went to book next term and a substantial booking fee (that wasn't added last time) had suddenly appeared? Even though I was an existing customer. Realised I was having the mickey taken out of me, so I rebooked at a school in Papamoa. It was cheaper, the people are kinder and the kids are doing so much better now. I'm now out of pocket by a full term but it's worth it.

   Swim teachers friendly, but don’t progress children enough. Both of my children learned more in 6 months at otumoetai pools than in 2 years at this place (only moved because pools warmer) Not worth the price at all. When I mentioned this to management, criticism was received very poorly. Therefore because of poor customer service and stagnant learning I will be withdrawing my support for this establishment.

   Terrible, just about getting as many kids through the door as possible. Child version of a puppy mill. My son hasn't progressed at all, if anything he has lost confidence in the water. His school runs a after school swimming program over summer that was fantastic and we only went to Liz Van Welie Aquatics to keep his skills up over the winter. Will be going back to the after school lessons when the pool opens. Better quality and 1/3rd the price.

   Top quality swim school for children from 6 months upwards. Great teachers and very friendly staff. i recommend this place very highly as it teaches children confidence and great technique from a very early age but is never pushy and your child learns and develops skills at their own pace. I especially enjoy the holiday programs which give a real boost to a child's learning journey. Lessons are half an hour each and when a child is confident going under and floating they no longer need a parent in the pool. The staff are very accommodating if you miss a lesson or have more than one child. And Liz van Welie is full of vision and ideas to make the school better and create and friendly and quality environment. There's a play area inside too. Discounts and offers available - mention my name when you enrol your child if this review has helped you!
