Visited as I had need of a specific item. Found the staff most helpful and serviced my needs well.Store very busy but there were plenty of staff on the floor to provide assistance to customers. Parking a little challenging but only because the store was so busy. Really like the fact that the store is part of a 100% New Zealsnd owned entity. Fed up with seeing profits for commercial operations heading off shore.
I think it would have to be the best mitre 10 mega in the county. Im from Auckland but was doing repairs to my house in Tauranga . Your staff are just amazing .especially the two ladies named SHONA & ROBYN .They went out of there way to find every items i needed and also pointed out what would work best . I have a lot more work to do to the house and apartment but will only go to Mitre 10 Mega from now on . Those ladies should have a payrise ! Awesome experience at your store. Cheers Gerry
I had such a a great experience with customer support in Tauranga Mitre 10. This was with Tina. She had helped me with some garden pots, then a few days later a returned a few of them as I got too many. She remembered my name and was so warm and helpful and chatty. I was so appreciative and thoroughly impressed. So thank you Tina.
Giving a 5 star coz of how kid friendly this place is, came here to get the outdoor sensor light with my kids and they were thrilled to see there’s a place for them. The plants section is well stocked and pretty organised. We also grabbed some hot drinks, i think they are pretty standard. Nice friendly staff.

During my visit in Tauranga we went to see Mitre 10 in Gate Pa. We are from Holland and we own a flower shop there so when it comes to the quality of flowers and plants, I know what I am talking about. I was very impressed with the variety of plants and pots that they have to offer. The store is very tidy and had a great assortment of products. They staff are friendly and knowledgeable. We really loved the outside furniture sets, shame I could take one in the plane on the way back. The only disappointment is that they don't deliver to the Netherlands. At the check out we were served by "Christine " . She was great and most friendly.
I was looking for a battery powered hedge trimmer. Embarking on the first piece of battery powered tool for my son, I was deliberating between several brands of power tool products. Was introduced to the Stanley hedge trimmer. Have yet to use it. But visual inspection suggests it is an excellent piece of tool - good handling and very well shaped and sharpen doubke-action cutting edge. I am very happy with the purchase. Thanks Vaughan for the excellent recommendation.
When I visited this place, I was amazed. It's that big and has pretty much everything you could possibly want. If there's something missing, it's...well...is it a tool used by professionals? However, there are also some items that the expert uses, so if you want something, please come to this shop first. And if you don't have it, it's not too late to go somewhere else. Also, if you ask the staff, they will kindly tell you.
I thought Bunnings service was good, but these guys are next level. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff working the floor was the highlight of our visit…but some of the guys in the tools section might need to up there game.
