“We recently hired Sawadee as one of our catering vendors for our wedding and I can hands down say that was the BEST pad thai I have ever tasted. The guests loved it with a lot of our friends and family still talking about the food to this day! The service was exceptional and I would definitely recommend Sawadee food trucks to anyone wanting a fun, tasty and friendly vendor at their next event. Thank you for making our special day even more magical!”

“So cheap, so fresh and so good. Easily one of the cheapest places to eat real food in Wellington. Definitely a must for students and backpackers.”
“Cheap prices do not match the quality of the food, it’s so much better than expected. Highly recommend if you need a quick dinner option. Only tried the Thai side of things recommend the number 7.”
“Nice little Thai restaurant, has dinner here the first time and ordered plenty of dishes amount 3 adults and 2 kids. Service was really good and the food was very nice, the Red Thai curry is great with Rice hard to find a park during evening.”
“LOVE this place!! Food is always so freshly made and great flavours. Definitely takes me back to Thailand! If you’re a fan of fresh seafood, then you need to try the raw prawn salad. Love their curry puffs and money bags, super crunchy and comes with a really good sauce. Their sizzling plate is also amazing with some coconut rice. Service here is always so friendly, totally recommend!”
“I choose this venue for celebrating special occasions, and my recent visit with family reaffirmed its excellence. The service was outstanding. the waitresses knew exactly what my parents preferred and were exceptionally friendly. The cuisine, highlighted by dishes like the red curry and both roasted and steamed snapper, was superb. The flamed chicken provided an exciting experience that never grew dull, and its taste was exceptionally satisfying. This visit was as delightful as my previous ones. The combination of exquisite food and impeccable service ensures that my family always has a fantastic time here. I genuinely love this place!”
“Great evening Food was delicious & well presented - some exceptional eg whole fish Had cocktails. . Mine was nice, blue! But a little too sweet. Nice decor - colorful, very Thai, & arty. Highly recommended”
“Located in a basement, with a few large long tables. Lovely Thai food. Music is a little loud, but able to have conversations. Recommend Papaya salad, tom yum soup.”
“This Thai restaurant is right near my home, and I can't believe I had never tried it before! I decided to give it a shot over the weekend and was surprised to find it quite busy. I ordered a **Prawn Nasi Goreng**—the portion was huge, and the rice was packed tightly into the bowl. It was super fragrant! I also got the **Crispy Pork Belly**—the pieces were large, and the sauce mixed with the fried rice was incredibly delicious. Finally, I ordered a snack: **Satay Skewers**—chicken skewers coated in rich satay peanut sauce, absolutely amazing! The restaurant even offers a **keto menu**, so it's great for those on a diet or into fitness. I'll definitely be going back again!”
“I had been wanting to try this restaurant for a long time, but I got this chance recently. It didn't make me disappointed. It offers different kinds of Southeast Asian Cuisine. The duck, steak in crying tiger and scallops are so tender and tasty. And they are worth to try it!”
“Love their food! Hidden gem in Linden.”
“My partner and I usually go out once a month for dinner to restaurants around Wellington and we were delighted with this place! I have a gluten intolerance and the staff member that served us was super accommodating! I absolutely loved the cocktails, I had a tropical one with an ice block and a toasted marshmallow screwer. My partner had a yellow curry and I had the Bangkok Street Noodles and they even gave me some peanut sauce as I could have soy sauce and it went perfectly well with it! I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone and will be back! Thanks for a great night and experience!”

“I absolutely LOVE this place! Prior to having discovered this place, I absolutely could not stand Chinese takeaways. These guys have proved me so wrong in my opinion and changed my mind! The quality and price are so good and not to mention their hot chips are just the cherry on top!!”
“Hands down the best food I have had in all of New Zealand. I went to Spice Paragon with zero expectations as most Thai food in Christchurch is quite average. The prices were a bit much for me at first glance, as I often run on tight budget. Most of the time I will argue that expensive food is not worth it past a certain price point, but that argument failed here. The food arrived within 10 min of ordering and was absolutely stunning visually. We ordered the Pad Thai and a beef dish with a red curry sauce (I can't remember the name) that the waitress recommended. The Pad Thai was delicious, but the beef dish stole the show. The meat was tender, full of flavor, and the sauce it was bathed in was delectable. Portion sizes were large. The waitstaff was exceptionally friendly and attentive for New Zealand standards. The evening atmosphere would make this restaurant a great spot for a date, or a nice dinner with friends and family. If you are looking for a nice dinner spot with bold flavors in Christchurch, this is the place!”
