   Our party of 12 enjoyed an excellent meal at Mixmoon last night. The restaurant was full, the staff were running to keep up with everyone's orders but were still cheerful and pleasant. I had the cashew prawns and my partner enjoyed the basil chicken. Other family members tried different tasty meals and everyone enjoyed them. Mixmoon has a decent list of wines and beers and does some great cocktails.

   Honestly one of the best restaurants I've been to in Auckland. Second time visiting tonight for my husband and his grandmother's birthday. Service was amazing yet again. Staff were so personable. Even my 8 year old couldn't stop raving about how good the food was and how nice the waiter and waitress were. We finished off the evening with the banana and coconut fritters. Oh my goodness!!! I was so full but somehow my stomach made space. It was super yum. Would absolutely recommend to anyone who loves delicious food, friendly staff and the best is its BYO. Little gem in the heart of New Lynn. You won't be disappointed.

   I'd rate it lower but the food was quite good. A fusion sorta Western take on Malasian / Thai? The staff were dismissive, slow and poorly trained, unable to answer questions about the dishes served. Really, I think they are short staffed. The place is quite busy and loud. The lighting is super dim. My dad who wears glasses and is in his 60s could barely read the menu. Speaking of the menues.. They are disgusting. Poorly designed and heavily torn. Worse even, the food took almost an hour to make even though we were pre booked and seated. The chairs were also uncomfortable.. Thankfully as I said the food was good. A very solid 8/10. The price is also on the low side. What a shame about the letdowns though..

   One of a good mix asian food in West Auckland. Price is okay. I would like to say that the Thais milktea is actually hit the high note, pretty impressive. But the food is a bit not really that much appealing of taste, maybe the fusion takes something different from my last Thais restaurant visiting. But definitely worth a try.

   I had been wanting to try this restaurant for a long time, but I got this chance recently. It didn't make me disappointed. It offers different kinds of Southeast Asian Cuisine. The duck, steak in crying tiger and scallops are so tender and tasty. And they are worth to try it!
