   We get English dhaba takeaway when we feel like a curry. The food is absolutely delicious. Lamb korma is so flavoursome and tender. We don’t go anywhere else for curry. Highly recommend.

   The best curry in Wellington at a reasonable price! This is dinner and lunch for the next day. English Dhaba is my regular, and I've never had a bad experience. Ask for the house special it's delicious.

   Definitely best takeaway joint in Tawa. I love the palak paneer and the tandoori chicken is always a hit. We keep coming back here weekly, the food is super quick and consistently tasty, highly recommend.

   We have bought take away here several times and enjoyed the food. This time the vegetable pakora was terrible, large pieces with overly thick chicken pea batter with no seasoning. Nearly every pakora piece was potato, just 2 pieces of cauliflower. Very substandard from this establishment. The mains were, as usual, excellent. Chicken Tikka masala and Malabari prawn, both new choices for us. Mains great, entree, terrible.

   This would have to be one of the dirtiest restaurants i have been to. The place needs a big clean up. The service was very good, they get 5 stars for that but then the food was just average, we came here because everyone online says its the best ever, i can tell you thats it not. The place stinks. Our clothes stunk of curry when we got home, i think they have no air extraction system in the kitchen as the roof is cover in black as if there was a fire inside… we wont be back even for takeaway

   Enjoyed having dinner at English Dhaba last night. We ordered, Prawn biryani, chicken saagwala and garlic naan. I enjoyed the biryani. The prawns were cooked to perfection. It was not the South Indian biryani that I am used to, but still was full of flavour and quiet satisfying. I have to mention, the portion size of the biryani was almost double of what we get in other places. Saagwala was different to the ones we usually get. It almost was close to a homemade dish. I was very pleased with the food and service. I am definitely going back to try more dishes.
