Fantastic Vietnamese food. My friend had the chicken omelette without rice and I had the spicy beef soup. Both were fantastic and made super quick. This has been a favorite for years.
Fisherman’s Plate is the best pho you will find! The owners are lovely and make such delicious food. Always go in for a pho and a scoop of chips - such good value.
An ‘authentic’ ascetic interior inspires confidence. The menu is diverse, the staff are friendly, and they are knowledgeable about the dishes. The choice fell on the spicy beef soup. Finally, normal-sized garnishes of greens and citrus (not like in many other establishments of this type). The portion is large, the broth is good, the noodles are non-standard but excellent. The amount of meat is pleasing. Two types of homemade ham (chicken and pork) are interesting but not for everyone. Solid 4,5/5, will definitely return for the pho
Came because of reviews on the Pho and I had to say the Lamb Pho went down my belly quick! Although Lamp portions were small. Service is very Asian. Order at counter by the menu number as shown on the wall and the waiter brings the food over when ready. Easy. Atmosphere is old fashion Asian restaurant feel. Basic painted walls with tables and chairs. I felt right at home. Don't expect extravance in decor but do so in its food.
Fisherman's plate has got its mojo back and the food is better than ever. The laksa and the satay prawn are my favourite dishes - both packed with flavour and very grounding.
Great Vietnamese rice rolls. Tasty on their own, even better with the satay sauce! Reasonable/expectable price. Service was quick even when the place was nearly fully seated. Good range of menu, includes common Vietnamese favourites! Staff are friendly and lovely.
Satay tofu and vegetables is superb. Best tofu takeaway dish I can think of in Wellington. The Pad Thai is also great. Haven’t tried the fish and chips but they look good.
Excellent Vietnamese cuisine. The soup is rich and pho smooth. Spring roll is crispy and roast meat is tender. Reasonably large serving and reasonable prices. S
