“Found this hidden gem at the back of Rita’s as I was walking past and smelt the glorious smell of pizza. Their pizzas are fire. Bases are perfect. Toppings are plentiful and juicy. Service is swift. Prices are comparable to a gourmet dominoes pizzas so it’s no brainer to come here instead. Looking forward to returning for some more great Detroit style pizzas!”
On the plate at Jun's Kitchen, the idea is simple, bistro-style and well executed. Team members keep things friendly and on task. Takeaway holds up well on the drive. Orders move at a steady clip. Goo...
“First time we ordered fish n chips from here tonight, we will definitely be back! Beautifully cooked, fresh food, and a very clean shop!! Plus friendly staff Tick tick tick.. totally recommend.”
“From the moment we walked through the door we were met with warmth, elegance and attention to detail. This continued through out our ladies lunch with elevated, attentive service. Our meals were a mix of classic favourites with a creative twist. An extensive range of wines on offer made for a delight experience. We can’t wait to go back again Easily recommend this restaurant.”
“Great place to get a Ramen or huge piece of sushi. It's in the industrial area so as you can imagine it has an industrial feel but it's a good nugget in a sea of average places.”
“$20 for unadon was a bargain! Very tasty too”
“My favourite korean restaurant, use to come here regularly, but can't anymore due to bodybuilding. I love their cutlet sets, delicious, crunchy, well seasoned, and sause is also amazing. Sides are also amazing. Too bad the food court itself has terrible hygiene standards. Tables, chairs, bathrooms etc are dirty. And YES, there IS gum under most tables and chairs”
“Writing this review from heaven cause I died and came here right after eating the braised beef soup and the steamed soupy buns. everything about this meal was pure bliss. my friend and I had smiles the entire time. it made my day having such a great meal in such a great place for such a great price. all the stars.”
“I’ve been coming here with my mum since I was a little kid and Angelo’s Roast Blockhouse has never once disappointed, beautifully golden and crispy potatoes, generous portions of the chicken and lamb in the roast meals as well as veges and that beautiful gravy! The rolls (pork) are my absolute favourite! Tonight’s dinner was a large lamb roast meal for hubby, a large chicken roast meal for myself and a small chicken roast meal for my daughter! Hubby said “why would anyone make a roast at home when you can go to this place” I 1000% agree!”
“I especially love the donuts! They are freshly made on-site. Yummy!”
Sushi Shop Prebbleton keeps things Japanese‑leaning and focused on flavour. Plates offer plenty without weighing things down. The team keeps things friendly and organised. Broths and noodles keep good heat and snap.
“HIGHLY RECOMMEND coming here! You will not be disappointed. Food is always fresh and is thee best! They've been here for a good 10+ years and honestly support your local. Go and check them out, you will not be disappointed.”
“Awesome food full stop always friendly service…well priced also!!!”
“The best sushi in Hamilton in my opinion. The salmon, avocado and cream cheese and the vegetable tempura are my absolute favourites! But I like almost everything lol and they also give free miso and are very friendly, welcoming and have good customer service. Also if something isn't there that you want to eat they'll make it for you if you ask.”
“This is a place I often go when I visit Omokoroa. The food is delicious and friendly.”
“Comfortable room with a balcony overlooking the sea. I slept like a log to the sound of the waves and woke up to an amazing view. Recommended.”
“I had a wonderful experience here! Breakfast is always ready, so even if you come down a bit late, you can still enjoy it. The hotel owners are very kind and the hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. There are famous mountains and the sea nearby, making it convenient to go sightseeing. If you visit in summer, I would 100% recommend this place!”
“Absolutely awesome. My egg cheeseburger was great and Dad got the snapper... He says it's tastier than the Loch Ness monster”
“Great food, can get very busy. Good vegan options.”
“Traveled from South Auckland to bring our son here for his birthday based off the great reviews and his love for crepes. Specifically only came for that one dish, the crepes, and man they didn't disappoint! The crepes were flavorful! Very tasty! Price is reasonable I spose. Service was great, She always had a smile, kept water topped up, greeted and farewells us. Made us feel comfortable being Hori's in a boujee environment lol Atmosphere is calm and relaxing. Beautiful view. Going back to try the meals on the menu. Highly recommended the crepes!!”
“We lovd it. Excellent experience. Remember us a travel in Edinburgh! Why the scottish people always eat nachos? We like it!”
“I've said it before and I'll say it again-best cafe on the North Shore! Anna has created a haven with hand picked coffee beans from around the globe, expertly roasted and carefully measured. The food is concise, with fewer options done exceptionally. The BEST ingredients and scones ever (and I've eaten them the world over-sorry Scotland!) ...caramelised cashews on top, melt in your mouth crumb and softest crystalised ginger. Love”
“I love this place. It's been a few years since I stayed, and wow! The refurbishment of the rooms are incredible. It's the cleanest newest tastefully designed decor I have experienced in a long time.”
“My wife and I celebrated our 25th (Silver) Wedding Anniversary with a meal here. The food, service, and atmosphere were great. The view out over the Waitākere Ranges was beautiful, despite the overcast evening. It was unfortunate that we were unable to have our preferred and reserved outdoor seating, due to the verandah being inaccessible for wheelchairs.”
“Friendly staff, always Plenty to choose from for both sweet and savory tastes. Delicious cabinet food ready to go. This place is always pretty busy, and for good reason. Tables inside and outside available with weather coverage for the damper days. Highly recommend you make the stop if you're in the area. Treat yourself!”
“Best place for breakfast outside of the cbd. Very well prepared and painstakingly detailed presentation of delicious breakfast items. A wide range to choose from. Very reasonably priced. Fantastic service and very warm, friendly staff. Pet friendly outside seating available. Clean toilets. Quite a well lit corner, tucked away in one of Auckland's oldest suburbs. Definitely recommended over any other eating establishment in Mt Albert!”
“This place is no longer Williams Eatery - it’s now Bowler! They offer a fantastic selection of bowls, letting you choose from chicken, beef, or salmon, with bases of either brown rice, salad, or a mix of both. There are plenty of healthy options to enjoy here. I visited Bowler with my colleagues to check out the new spot, and it didn’t disappoint. The experience was wonderful! The staff were friendly and personally called out our names from the counter when our bowls were ready. It got quite busy during lunchtime, but at $17.90 per bowl, the price felt reasonable and well worth it. So far, I’ve tried the Free-Range Chicken Bowl (No. 1) and the Mt. Cook Salmon Bowl (No. 4). Both were absolutely delicious! The brown rice base is perfect if you’re looking for a more filling meal. The bowls focus on highlighting the natural flavours of the ingredients, with no heavy sauces - just fresh, wholesome goodness. I enjoyed Williams, and now I am loving Bowler too. I’ll definitely be coming here more often for lunch. Highly recommended!”
“Such a gem! One of the best meals we had in NZ. The ceviche will change your life. We were basically licking the plate. Cocktails were fantastic. Doesn’t feel as touristy as other spots on the island which is nice as well. We were only stopping in for a snack and it was so good we ended up doing full blown dinner here. View of the ocean down the road from outdoor seating. Thank you to the chefs and wait staff for a wonderful meal and time!!!”
“I am definitely saving this on my restaurant list because every single piece of what we had was amazing. The staff were really nice and helpful from explaining the menu, each dish, how their smoking system works, and offering to open some of the blinds to cool our seating area down. Do expect to leave with quite a large bill, but that's the standard price to pay for good bbq around here.”
“Wow this is a return visit to this intimate dining venue after a few years. This time I was with my family. The portion sizes are generous. We had three small dishes and three mains with three sides. The small dishes were larger than expected. Pork, prawns and fish tartar all different but delicious. For a main I had the sweet and sour pork belly, this my go to dinner choice and it was mind blowing. I have rarely had a dish that was so perfectly balanced between rich salty pork and the sour sauce, I was in heaven. The duck fried rice and beef curry were rich and flavourful. No one had food envy and there was enough to share, we all loved it. Cocktails were lovely too, high recommended dinner experience. I'll let the photos speak for the cosy intimate atmosphere.”
