Love this hidden gem of a place! The food is absolutely delicious. Cooked my chicken teriyaki and katsu on the spot (freshly cooked when ordered) and it was the best. The staff members were very friendly and courteous. My daughter ordered the sushi and said it was the best she has had (and she's tried many sushi shops). We parked across the road in WW (Countdown) car park and it was a short walk to the shop. Easy access. Tables and chairs to sit on if necessary, but we chose to takeaway. Will definitely be back again and a again.
Amazing ramen at such a good price($18) I always add an egg (already ate half before I took the photo) the broth is delicous and the service is incredible!
Accidently stumbled upon this place while we were out looking for some Thai food. Other Thai restaurants were closed, and Azumaya happened to have Thai dishes as well along with the Japanese meals. We were absolutely happy to say we had the best Pad Thai in Auckland! Beats authentic Thai restaurants too! We will definitely be coming back & highly likely will be regulars, and would love to try everything else in the menu. Lovely couple running the shop, will keep coming back!
I went with my sister. The old couple are super friendly and cute, they heated up our food in the microwave and the overall customer service was awesome. I plan to go there again
One of my favourite local places to eat. The Japanese couple that run it are really friendly and make great food at affordable prices. Highly recommended!
Tonight I picked up the most disgusting two meals of takeout it has ever been my misfortune to smell let alone attempt to eat. The katsu chicken was slimy as if it had been cooked 3 days ago then microwaved. The chicken noodle soup looked and tasted like canned chicken with noodles that disintegrated when you touched them with your chop sticks.
