We finally got the chance to experience it for our wedding anniversary dinner—and it did not disappoint! We opted for the seasonal menu with wine pairings and couldn’t resist adding a Culprit classic as well. Every bite was a delight. Truly loved it! The restaurant’s soft music, stylish décor, and gentle lighting created the perfect romantic and relaxing atmosphere. “Awesome meal, steak was perfect. Roasted garlic and (balsamic?) onions were a nice touch. Sauces are really flavourful and go a long way. Had the ribs last time and those were great too, nice smoky taste.”

“Went on a whim for lunch and wasn’t disappointed. We sat at the bar with the chefs, who were happy to explain things. Great service, super tasty food (the anchovy is unlike what we usually get here in NZ), and a reasonable Champagne price (for a restaurant). Menu is seasonal but see pics for the food we enjoyed—lighting wasn’t the best where we were, but you get the idea. We’ll be back!”

“Tucked away on a corner, didn't know this place existed until a couple of weeks ago. Clean, tidy and spacious inside, outside has a couple of tables. Has a modern casual feel to it. Heaps of parking. This place has really good food, fresh and tasty as. Staff/owner very friendly and accommodating. Recommend you to try it out!”

“Authentic Italian on the beachside. I’ve come here twice now to try the pizza, and it’s always been good. They have some vegan options however they are not labeled very well on the menu so you will have to ask. Portion size for the vegan pizza was average, but the other food look well well portioned. Lovely staff and a great venue, excellent date location.”

“Got recommended this place by a friend and with the thought of supporting our local small businesses, four of us decided to eat in, theres only three tables and we took two lol. Lucky there werent any others eating in as it would be very cosy. We ordere green chicken curry, red chicken curry, pad thai, spring rolls curry puffs, tom yum soup and man was it fast coming out of their small kitchen. My fav is green curry and pad thai chicken of course. Was in and out in less than an hour which worked out good cause theres not alot of 60 min parking opposite. Highly recommend. Thanks Thai Hut.”

“Fresh, tasty food at a reasonable price. I had a mixed vegetable stirfry with chicken, which was succulent and tender. Helpful service, especially regarding my requirement to be gluten free (the Hungry Time used gf soy sauce in my stirfry). The place was clean and I appreciated the fact that the music was nice and quiet in the background, but it's not really the kind of place you go to for its decor - it's all about the food.”

“First time here tonight. I ordered : Wings with White sauce (amazing) Wings with Asian spicy sauce (also excellent) The chicken was perfectly cooked and juicy. The flavour was not overpowering, and it was perfect temp! I also had the Pulled beef, Generous serving, Super tasty, and it made me feel a bit better about my food choices with the added vegetables in there too. I liked a lot, it and will try the rest of the menu.”

“Great service and mouth-watering, authentic Japanese food! We ordered the vegetable tempura, katsu, tuna sashimi, and squid ink udon — and loved every dish. Nothing disappointed. Everything was beautifully presented with authentic flavours. Despite the busy atmosphere, our food and drinks arrived quickly, and the waitstaff were attentive and efficient.”

“A humble outlet run by a gem of a person, tasty food prepared using fresh ingredients I have visited the outlet many times tried hoki and snapper with chips. In addition, I have tried squid and sausages. The food here is delicious and I will keep visiting this place periodically. Great place serving scrumptious food.”

“This restaurant was excellent. My wife and I came here on a rainy Thursday evening after work, it had been on my watchlist for a while. We didn’t have a reservation, but luckily we were able to get a good table. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We ordered two of their signature dishes: the pineapple prawn red curry and the prawn and chicken Pad Thai. The red curry was served inside a whole pineapple, which was both impressive and delicious. It had big, juicy prawns and the balance of spicy curry and sweet pineapple was perfect, definitely well deserved as a signature dish. The Pad Thai was also great, flavourful and satisfying. The atmosphere was warm and cozy, with just the right level of noise to feel lively but not overwhelming. Parking was a bit tricky since the shared lot behind the restaurant is narrow and limited, but it was worth the effort. Highly recommend this place, we absolutely loved it!”
