“Great space fun for all ages. Plenty of shade.”
“Superb coffee, super friendly staff and a very relaxed, clean, family friendly space for all”
“Excellent coffee, food and service. Very attentive and kind staff. I highly recommend:)”
“We visited on a sunny Sunday afternoon and the vibe was great. A live band was playing good tunes, not so loud that you couldn't enjoy a good yarn with your mates, and the staff were courteous and friendly. We arrived when it was very busy so the wait time for a cooked meal from the menu was an hour so keep that in mind if visiting when busy. Thoroughly enjoyed our time here and look forward to stopping in again over summer.”
“After a refurbishment and challenging times due to never ending road works, Ambler reopened recently, much to the delight of the neighbourhood. Dishes have never disappointed whenever we’ve been, and we’ve gone through the whole menu, breakfast, lunch and dinner. The chefs know their flavours, cook time and combinations. Yum, yum, and yum!”
“Really good venue, for a top quality gig, sound was good, ambience even better.. Excellent staff meant it was a good night for all.. highly recommended.”
“Eurodell is an absolute gem! They offer an incredible range of high-quality European products, especially their smallgoods – everything is authentic and full of flavour. The staff are always friendly, welcoming, and really know their stuff, which makes the whole experience even better. Their fresh sandwiches, rolls, and sweet treats are next-level – all made using the very products they import, and you can taste the quality in every bite. Highly recommend popping in, whether you're stocking up the pantry or just grabbing a delicious lunch!”
“Great place to bring the kids around for lil picnic with the great view, playground from toddler year 2-5. Near the beach, clean toilet with paid parking car near the pool.”
“I get a coffee from here every morning, great coffee and good food! The croissants & the sandwiches/baguette are delicious! Staff are very polite and friendly”
“Beautifully presented avocado on toast. Good coffee. Pleasant staff. Fair prices. Most importantly, theyre accommodating to small, friendly dogs, meaning I can go there without worrying about my little puppy.”
“It was an amazing final stop on North Island, we travelled by car from Auckland. Fully equipped room incl washing and drying machine, was a bless. Fully equipped kitchen if you'd like to cook during holiday time. Breakfast has some options however there's no coffee machine or veggie options. It's really close to historical/government city part.”
“Consistently the best Coffee I can find in the CBD. Service is top tier. Food is really good. Atmosphere is great, it’s busy, bustling, and they have an on to it team, who always make you feel welcome. But the star of the show is absolutely the coffee. Recommend.”
“I’ve always known this place was here, but ventured in for the first time recently. A wonderful selection of cheeses and meats, and other French-themed food and non-food. Incredibly helpful and friendly staff. I’ll be back to try the café, which was packed at lunchtime and looked very inviting.”
“Great produce, even better staff. Left my debt card behind after shopping there. Got a call 5 min later saying they had it. All sorted quickly and politely. Great spot!”
“A relaxing shaded cafe on a hot day; ample range of treats for us gluten free people. Really good coffee; no hint of bitterness. There was even a beautifully executed picture of a swan in my foam. Thanks Shine staff!”
“We dropped in for a quick takeaway and as usual it was pretty busy on a Sunday afternoon. As we waited for our takeaways, a lovely staff handed us a glass of water which is an awesome gesture. We have dined in several times and we never had any negative feedback to provide. Lots on the menu to choose as well as your usual pastries and sweet desserts. Our favourite is the seafood casserole! Very rich and if given the chance, I would lick the bowl! Parking can be tricky as there are only a few on the street and several others by the side. Best to book if you do visit on the weekend or just wait as the turnover is pretty quick.”
“Since John took over, this pub has gone from strength to strength. He's added so many features (doggy biscuits and beers, kids play area, lots of board games, weekly food trucks, weekly quizzes) that have made it not only a family friendly, local pub, but also a destination. Offering some amazing beers, wonderful staff will take you into their care and ensure you can kick back and relax. Dog friendly, kid friendly, social team friendly, it really does offer do much! Thanks for everything team, we love you!”
“This is where we come for our butter chicken and garlic naan fix ❤️❤️. We recently bought their samosas, so tasty and the sizes of each one are perfect, especially with the sauce it comes with. We absolutely love them! I highly recommend giving this establishment a visit.”
“My favorite cinema in Christchurch. Titan luxe is a great experience - sound is amazing, the seats are comfortable, and the food meets expectations. Can't wait to go here again.”
“Great location for an airport hotel and surprisingly great food great view and wonderful staff. Highly recommend this as a hotel to stay before or after your flight. Beds were very comfortable and spacious rooms with good showers. Buffet breakfast is a must with great selections and as a platinum member we were given barista coffee. Unfortunately there wasn’t an executive lounge for us but still a great hotel.”
“Absolutely delicious tasty food! We love just love their dishes. The wonton soup with handmade wontons and pork balls has possibly the best broth I have ever tasted. I could eat this dish every day! If you love spicy chilli noodles then the spicy egg noodles with home smoked pork is a must. Just delicious. Portion sizes are good value for money. We visit them at the Christchurch Farmers market on at Saturday and also via uber eats on Thursday.”
“Pies are full of real food. $10 for a plain mince but very tasty. Also got some sweet treats. Beautiful taste, spoilt for choice. Thanking Sheffield Pies for their response: Just to clarify, our items were 'rounded' up so my apologies for not specifying the correct price per item. Thank you for doing so. I hope this hasn't been taken in the wrong light but just as an aside, I should have got another pie! They were delicious.”
“Great fun for all ages. My daughters loved the pony rides. They were a bit nervous, but the people working the pony rides were so nice and made my girls comfortable and have an awesome time. Lots of other beautiful and interesting animals to see and feed.”
“Excellent suburban tavern for a sociable beverage and delicious food with friends. Superb drink specials in Christchurch this I'm aware of and great range of food. You gotta check them out!”
“Amazing little food court. Mexican, Japabese, Korean fried chicken and middle Easter. 5 vendors all exceptionally friendly and well priced. Good options for vegetarian.”
“Nice hot spa while watching grandies in lazy river and shallow pool”
“Walk my dog here most days, awesome area for daily exercise, only thing that ruins it, are people ripping up the grass on dirtbikes.”
“Every year, I return to this cafe for breakfast during my visit to this small city Hamilton in NZ. Lovely and quiet morning atmosphere here. Coffee was good, breakfast was delicious, and service was fast and friendly.”
