“Went to Gusto Italiano not knowing what to expect which ended up being a great decision last night. Our dinner the seafood spaghetti, chicken breast with vegetables & chicken fettuccine all amazing. The service from Milan & Armando was equally great. Definitely will return and thinking about ordering pizza & lasagne for tonight.”
“We had a delightful dinner at Siamese Doll recently. The flavours were amazing, portions were generous, the service was attentive without being overbearing. We had 2 entrees, 4 mains and a round of drinks for $60 a head, which I thought was great value. Great to see a busy restaurant on a Wednesday night! They also dealt with my daughter’s nut allergy seriously and respectfully. We’ll definitely be back again soon!”
“It's been a while since I have been to this restaurant although I have had some good takeaways from it. The meal last night was of an excellent quality , with good friendly service. I continue to rate this as one of the best Japanese restaurants around. I will be back.”
“Wow, just Wow! Food was absolutely amazing. The ambiance and service was amazing too. We celebrated my daughter’s birthday and they even turned down the lights to sing happy birthday. We will definitely be back to try some of the other dishes. Thank you for a beautiful night out. Highly recommend.”
“I love this place! Really good food and service. Prices are reasonable, too. There's not really a downside, but if you're seated in the separate booths in the hallway, you lose some of the atmosphere, but if you're looking for some privacy, that's the spot. 5 stars!!”
“Really great pool hall, extremely well priced to play pool, the food is a bit on the pricier side, but it is really high quality and tasty. Had the $31 burger which was never going to be the best value, but it was very nice. Had the ribs last time and the pizza too, all very nice. Some of the best thick cut fries I’ve had. Really great place, a local favourite.”
“After coming once before, we have come back as a family with higher expectations than the last time. We cannot express the absolute wonderful experience at Katmandu. The beautiful decor around the restaurant adds to the identity of the restaurant and the culture too. This restaurant deserves all the praise that they receive and will receive in the future. The food is quickly prepared and served with absolute excellence. I wish to thank the owner for the opportunity to experience such cuisine. To possible new customers, my family and I urge you to visit and experience Kathmandu for yourself.”
“A tiny jewel hides in lovely St Heliers neighborhood. Booking is super easy - online or phone call. Parking is easy as. Quality, freshness and quantity of dishes achieved a great balance. Clean and tidy - toilet too (and not wet). Try and you will keep coming back.”
“I loved our food and experience at Origami in Wellington. We found this Japanese restaurant on TripAdvisor and I am so happy that we went to have dinner there! I highly recommend this place because everything was perfect. The atmosphere is nice, cosy, and modern with cute looking decorations and wall painting. The Japanese staff member was very cute and helpful at recommending dishes and teaching us about Japanese ways of drinking sake. And the food was very delicious! We had Tom Yum and Miso ramens and a dragon roll.”
“The best ramen I've found in Wellington so far - hearty flavourful broth, perfectly soft-boiled egg, thin juicy pork ... Well worth the exploration up the mysterious stairs for the authentic vibes and chill J-Rock playlist. Definitely gonna start taking friends and family here!”
“Incredibly friendly staff and delicious food at terrific value. We ordered quite a spread to try out a few different things. The portions were very generous and well priced. The basil aioli is absolutely wonderful! It's the little things. Very comfortable environment too. Loved the place. Can't wait to come back next time I'm in the area!”
“A neat little bar tucked away from any main road that has an outstanding collection of craft beer, a quirky menu and, if you’re there at the right time, live music. This little treasure is always worth a visit”
“Food was fantastic, best meal I have had in NZ. Lamb was cooked to perfection, paired with roasted root vegetables that had a wonderful, natural glaze. Roasted potatoes lightly browned, creamy on the inside. The pork belly was also very nicely done, the mash hearty and flavorful. Cabbage provided a nice counter-point. Highly recommended.”
“We’ve had the BEST pizza in NZ here so far! It's a lovely restaurant with a unique history and good food. It's a must-visit when in Lincoln. Be aware that they’re not open every night.”
“Great fast service, most clients are heading shows as perfectly placed for a pre show meal. Recommend booking as small restaurant and previously we have not been able to get a table. Food delicious, tasty and friendly team.”
“Amazing team, great food delicious, and well-proportioned, sauces were on point definitely recommended to family and friends”
“Great experience!! We hosted our end of year work function here for Lunch and it was so amazing. There was heaps of food, great staff and really nice outdoor function room! Very good experience organising this with staff before the event and they were lovely to deal with. Everyone reported they had an amazing time and one of the things everyone has said since the event was "would love to do this again next year". 10/10”
“Very good dining atmosphere. Had The sushi train experience. Wish there could be more sashimi variety that will be amazing.”
“Really enjoyed the food, atmosphere and service. Very attentive helpful staff. Enjoyed trying a couple of cocktails. Really enjoyed the drama of the stone grills. Great touch with the branded burger buns. Only slight improvement would be for the Jameson jeus as it had no flavour at all, but a super easy fix”
“Can’t go wrong with Robert Harris, you always get a consistent feed. Got the salmon eggs bene and it had a really decent amount of salmon which is rare. The salmon roulade was great and the chips. Coffee is always good. Staff were friendly too.”
“As I walked past, I noticed my 2 mates eating in here. I pulled up and went in. Bar had a nice friendly atmosphere and a nice layout with an authentic feel. I order the pork belly hotpot and it was top both. Was so hot(heat) that I felt it had been in a nuclear reactor for a short time but once it had cooled down I could enjoy the full flavours of the dish. The pork belly was delicious and the soup was great too. Plenty of noodles and other well cooked veg. 100% will eat here again. Extremely well priced dishes for the portion sizes. . Highly recommended.”
