Easily one of the worst ‘Italian’ restaurants in Wellington, I would avoid at all costs! Arrived at 5 pm on a Sunday and expected a relatively short wait for food given that the restaurant was quiet, however this was not the case. It took over 20 minutes for our truffle loaded fries to arrive and another 20 minutes for our mains to arrive. What was most disappointing was the food, which was warm and lacked flavour in all 3 dishes ordered. The fries were unseasoned and the name deceiving as we expected grated truffle however received bland cold mushroom sauce instead. We ordered the Alfredo and Manhattan pizza, both of which were terrible and inauthentic. My pizza was cold and had to be sent back however after the wait we both lost our appetite. Staff tried there best however hospitality was mediocre and did not compensate. If you want edible authentic Italian food, Nolita’s is not the place and I definitely will not be returning.

Food is amazing though its salty for me.. probably not used to the smoke cheese taste. Pasta is perfectly aldente. Service was on point, the server is approachable. The atmosphere is very calm and serene. Recommended for vegan options.

Always a lovely spot to visit in Wellington. The staff were super accommodating for our large group- great service and delicious pizzas! I was the only vegan and there were no complaints from our meat eating friends. We all got different pizzas and tried a piece of each- so yum!

Incredibly friendly staff and delicious food at terrific value. We ordered quite a spread to try out a few different things. The portions were very generous and well priced. The basil aioli is absolutely wonderful! It's the little things. Very comfortable environment too. Loved the place. Can't wait to come back next time I'm in the area!

We had an absolutely fantastically tasty meal at this restaurant! Everything was super tasty and cooked to perfection. Freshness and texture was perfect. We were three people and two were non-vegans, and they both agreed that they did not miss anything from the food they were eating, that is, meat or dairy. Service was great, non-invasive, friendly and efficient. There was a lovely warm buzz as well in the restaurant. We will definitely be dining there more often.

Came here for brunch starving after a big night on the town and left feeling like I needed a vomitorium. Great food and in bulk. The spinach and ricotta balls are DENSE (and yum!!). We ordered fries for the table because that's what you do at a hungover brunch - my god, the bowl is huge. Every bowl is huge. No matter how big you think your stomach is - think again. Even the caesar salad was a real chestburster!! but again - yum.

TLDR: Probably one of Wellington's best option for vegans that is really good, but not diverse enough to be perfection. Service: the wait staff were prompt and efficient. While I have no complaints, they were not what I would call welcoming or inviting that makes for the truly 5 star service of "I loved it" according to the rating system. Atmosphere: another set of solid 4s here. It was clean and well decorated, but it was a tad cramped and didn't scream "come back" to us. Food: most importantly is was the food good? Heck yes it was! However, after trying four different dishes, it became a little one note. While the flavors were good, each dish started to taste the same and we tried to order a variety. Additionally, my noodles were a bit over cooked, on the mushier side of cooked, but the sauce was good. We would totally come back because Wellington has few decent vegan options. Nolita does a solid, good job with vegan food. We would just recommend a little more variety and some injection if unexpected flavor to keep us interested.

Great restaurant if you're after a vegan menu. Terrific selection of entrees, mains and pizzas all meat and dairy free. The cashew mozzarella cheese is really good, as are the pizzas made with sour dough bases. Good selection of drinks in the menu too.
