“These guys helped us move in December last year, and they made our lives so much easier! We called them to ask about assistance with moving and storing our stuff in between houses and they were quick to reply and organised everything for us. The day of pick up they arrived right when we expected them, they got everything loaded really quickly and moved our entire contents into one of their storage lockers. Super well organised and their incredibly friendly crew made us feel much more comfortable and made moving a breeze. “Allied moved me out of my house today. It was rainy and blowing a gale and it is always 10 times worse at my place as I live at the top of a hill with 36 steps!! I felt so sorry for the team as they worked steadily all day, packing in the morning and moving heavy boxes and large pieces of furniture in the afternoon. The rain and wind didn’t stop once and I didn’t hear a single word of complaint. I couldn’t recommend a team of movers more. They were led by a woman who impressed me so much. Her fortitude and her packing ability were 100%. She was a great example to all the others and she took particular care with all my precious pieces and paintings. I felt very grateful and lucky to have such an excellent team. Thank you Allied. We shifted into our new apartment today. Allied had stored our furniture for two weeks free of charge and then moved it all into our new home two days ago. All of our considerable stack of furniture was moved in quickly and with out any fuss. Then all was unwrapped and we were free to empty the multitude of cartons. With family help we had it all done by Wednesday and with just a simple phone call we were able to get the guys back to remove the considerable packaging. What a relief! It was good to hear that Allied rrecyvle as much as possible too . I was impressed by the attitude of our movers. Led by Meriera, who was particularly easy to deal with and very efficient, everything and more was done to make our transition easier. “Heaven sent I say... I can't rate these guys highly enough... From the very time I contacted them to when they finished late moving my home... Initially Rose and Reuben came over promptly to quote my shift as I had a section full of potted plants to shift as well .. That immediately relieved the stress of knowing a definite price when they dropped a quote within 2 hours in their own time with possible shift dates as I only had 2 weeks left to find suitable movers... Then I could sleep. On shifting day Tony and Jack took great care and thought by covering the moving trolley with blankets as well as my furniture and not one thing was scratched or damaged! Tony missed his weekly date with his wife in order to get me settled in to my new home by early evening. (Conroy's had previously shifted us and lost our bed ends, broke our TV and deeply scoured all our rimu furniture). Punctual, honest and genuinely caring about me knowing how stressful shifting can be... I truly wish I had known all about these guys years ago and I give them a flying 10 out of 10 from start to finish... You won't be disappointed.”
