    The team did a fantastic job with my move. I had a settlement move and they had me out with time to spare. I had typical difficult access with steep stairs up to the road and everything was taken great care of and moved in safely to my new place. Thank you very much. Will happily use again in the future.

    My 1 star review is a combination of 2 moves with Cameron Ryan. The first move went well. The team showed up on time, worked fast and overall did a good job. There were a few items that were damaged but I honestly expect that in a move. Unfortunately, my second experience with Cameron Ryan was terrible. I started communicating with the team in advance of the move. I indicated that our exact move date was not confirmed as the lease had not been finalised but we provided a range of dates (we knew when we had to be out). Once the move date was confirmed I notified Cameron Ryan, they emailed me and indicated they needed to move the date one day back. I responded within 15 minutes of that notice and was told I was out of luck as the date was no longer available and they couldn't move within my specified window. No phone call to ask me to move it sooner. Just "yeah, we are busy. can't help you." Pretty poor customer service to repeat customer.

    Excellent service from the Cameron Ryan removal team. Clear ETA given and great communication throughout. Really efficient workers with attention to care of furnishings. Seb was particularly good at responding to any queries and managed the process in a professional and friendly way. Highly recommend!

    Strap in, this might take a while. TL;DR - they damaged our stuff and are now threatening legal action against us because we are disputing the invoice Happy to provide all email correspondence to show exact situation for whoever wants it. Situation started out good. Very responsive and high communication when they wanted the sale. The guys who came to do the move all seemed like great guys. The problem is that before booking we were told the job would take no longer than 5 hours. Then on the day one of the guys in the job told me that they had been instructed to spend the whole day on the job. When you’re paying by the hour, this sucks. Next, they were incredibly careless with our contents. Boxes that we’re clearly labelled as Fragile we’re just dumped carelessly at the destination. This also included boxes that had clearly been labelled with β€œthis way up” labelling and arrows being placed however they felt was necessary. When this was mentioned to the owner of the company, his response was β€œI’m not sure what you’re getting at here? How would you have liked the truck/garage stacked?” This culminated in some of our contents being damaged. A large gouge in our dining table. Some storage boxes completely cracked, and a stand up mirror than no longer stands. After communicating this with the owner of the company, and telling him that although we were unhappy with them overall, we would be willing to pay the invoice, minus the replacement value of the damaged goods, the owner has threatened legal action against us. I have just received (last night) and email from him where he has included his legal counsel and asked her to begin legal proceedings against us in the district court. His claim is that the email we received from the company to confirm the job was booked in was a β€œlegally binding agreement” and this constitutes us agreeing to have read through, and agreed to, all of their terms and conditions on their website (which I was only just last night made aware of their existence). We have no signed agreement whatsoever, and instead of being willing to resolve this amicably and with acknowledgement that their actions caused significant extra cost to us in terms of replacement of damaged items, he has gone straight to legal proceedings to force us to pay the full amount of the invoice. On top of this, we found that the team worked very slowly, with others who came on the day mentioning how slow the move was going. All 3 of the movers spent significant time on their phones during the day, and it sounded like the guy who was stacking the truck was watching episodes of the simpsons on his phone while working. Another mover was, at times, taking test breaks by sitting on our furniture. The move was taking so long that we ended up asking the movers to put all of our boxes into the garage, instead of in the right rooms, and my wife and I removed all the furniture wrapping and blankets ourselves to help things move faster. When this was mentioned to the company owner, he replied by saying it was great that we were able to help and reduce the final cost. For anyone who is interested, I am happy to share the full email correspondence I have had with the owner of this company to provide context (other one star reviews have been met with claims that there are 2 sides to every story). Suffice to say that we regret engaging with this company. We sincerely hoped to avoid all of this by spending a great deal of time seeking an amicable solution, but their threatening of legal action and complete unwillingness to take responsibility for the damage to the items has forced our hand to write this review of our own personal experience.

    We had 3 guys come and move my mums 3 bedroom house out of the Wairarapa over to Wgtn, they were fantastic, they were quick and respectful, nothing was an issue. They were happy to help and made it so easy for the shift!! Top blokes, THANK YOU! Highly recommend :) They were on time. Happy chaps.

    These guys did an absolutely stellar job on a big move in awful weather. They were super careful, super accommodating and super chill. Reception and admin were also wonderful to interact with. Highly recommended.

    What an awesome company to be working for. I've been with Pete for just over two years after closing my business down (The Movers Limited). And continue to enjoy being part of the Cameron Ryan dream team. I love the challenges of each job as there are no 2 jobs the same. I love it when we finish work at the end of the day knowing that we made someones move a great experience, for them and hepled them with one of the most stressful things you can do in life, (move house). After working for several companies in wellington, I have come to believe that Cameron Ryan Transport is the best company i have worked for. With a boss who looks after us and the caliber of guys we have in our team I can honestly say I love my work place and the job I'm in. Give us a call.
