Allied moved me out of my house today. It was rainy and blowing a gale and it is always 10 times worse at my place as I live at the top of a hill with 36 steps!! I felt so sorry for the team as they worked steadily all day, packing in the morning and moving heavy boxes and large pieces of furniture in the afternoon. The rain and wind didn’t stop once and I didn’t hear a single word of complaint. I couldn’t recommend a team of movers more. They were led by a woman who impressed me so much. Her fortitude and her packing ability were 100%. She was a great example to all the others and she took particular care with all my precious pieces and paintings. I felt very grateful and lucky to have such an excellent team. Thank you Allied. We shifted into our new apartment today. Allied had stored our furniture for two weeks free of charge and then moved it all into our new home two days ago. All of our considerable stack of furniture was moved in quickly and with out any fuss. Then all was unwrapped and we were free to empty the multitude of cartons. With family help we had it all done by Wednesday and with just a simple phone call we were able to get the guys back to remove the considerable packaging. What a relief! It was good to hear that Allied rrecyvle as much as possible too . I was impressed by the attitude of our movers. Led by Meriera, who was particularly easy to deal with and very efficient, everything and more was done to make our transition easier. All of my cherished ornaments and paintings which MERI had packed for me arrived in pristine condition. Thank you so much Meriera and thanks to your team and Allied for a job well done. The door to door service was exceptional, no doubt. The packers and movers were present at my address at the given time and everything was carefully packed away. The delivery was also on time and on the date specified. Although while delivering one of the team members damaged my expensive gaming monitor and getting insurance to reimburse for it was a pain. The process stretched on for ages even after multiple follow up emails and calls. The insurance agent that was handling my case had completely disappeared until I escalated the matter with a stern email. As a future paying customer I would highly advise to keep everyone involved in the move on their toes from day one. This was my only problem with Allied, but otherwise everything else was really professional.
We are very satisfied with the service rendered by Allied. We were professionally and promptly handled and managed by the staff right from the beginning of our move from Wellington till Auckland. Packers from both ends were very friendly and fast in clearing our items and items were clearly labelled for tracking. The respective managers were responsive to our email queries and calls. In a nutshell , we have chosen this company as it provides the shortest timeframe, reasonably priced too, in transporting our items which consist of house furniture and several cartons. They were safely packed, transported and unpacked. We are very grateful and happy for the excellent service provided and might consider them again in the future. We wish the best to Allied Moving Services.
We had Allied wrap and pack, which the guys did very carefully and efficiently. They certainly didn’t stint on the wrapping paper! At the other end, the guys were very helpful in placing furniture where we wanted and unwrapping it. The description 'the careful movers' is just right.
Amazing people and great service! Managed to pack everything in hours that would have taken us weeks. Highly recommend them for packing and moving!
