“an excellent place for breakfast or morning tea. Friendly staff nice food , clean toilets and tables, highly recommended”
On the plate at At E's Cafe, the idea is Thai-inspired and well executed. Coffee pours are consistent and well textured. Stir-fries keep good heat and snap. Team members keep things friendly and on task.
“Great food and friendly service. The Keto iskenders are great, so delicious. Food was well presented in container too :)”
“Light lunch stop at the beautiful garden centre. The best chips in NZ! Happy to say it louder. Lovely setting, friendly staff, tasty food”
“My husband and I celebrated our 16th wedding anniversary at our local The Block Cafe. We decided to dine alfresco as the weather was beautiful. The staff were friendly, welcoming, helpful and efficient. The food was amazing. I got the Pancakes with berry compote and a generous sized amount of cream. My husband got the big breakfast which had everything from bacon, eggs, hash brown baked beans etc.. The coffee was Devine! Very filling and good value for money. We'll definitely be back again soon.”
“Second time coming to Pakuranga Chipmunks, each time was on my daughter’s birthday. We arrived on a Friday just after 09:30am and although it was a cloudy, wet and cold day…. The moment you enter the store you are welcomed with a ray of fun music and lights, a perfect way to spend your days indoor. My 2 year old enjoyed her time so much we stayed until 1:30pm! There’s a baby area with soft padded floors for your baby to crawl there way around and explore, there’s a 0-5 playground with sensory toys, musical piano, slide, and an upstairs playground with mirror maze, trampoline, walking rope and more slides - adults can fit too, I managed to comfortably explore alongside my 2 year old daughter, very study platforms. At an extra cost there are machine rides too. There’s also a 5-11 years area/playground that looked fun, we did explore the lower levels which had a large ball pit with a huge interactive screen projector where you throw the balls to eliminate the animal. If your child gets a bit bored of this playground there are arcade games along the back end of the store (extra cost) and a mini basketball court too. There are ample seats and tables close by to playgrounds. We ordered food from the cafe, for $39 I got the chicken burger combo & chicken nugget combo. A bit on the expensive side but the chicken burger was delicious (buns were soft and fresh) and they do have good coffee. Toilets were spotless and clean, a separate changing room for babies as well and a cool feature that I noticed was an area tucked around the corner from the cafe (outside of party room areas) was a set of comfy couches which is perfect for our breastfeeding māma’s who needed a comfortable private space to BF baby without the distractions of kids running around. Shoutout to the lovely owners for their awesome customer service, the lovely lady April was so attentive and I wish their business well for the future. Highly reccommend”
“Grade A!! Nice little water front spot and prices have increased from the last time we were there few months ago. Enjoyed our meal and coffee was delicious. Parking: you’ll be lucky to get one close by, took a while to find one and nearly gave up but found one just as we were about to drive off. Ordered Salmon Eggs Benedict $28.50 Bacon Eggs Benedict $27 Ice Coffee Frappe $8 Ice Chocolate Frappe $8 Mochaccino in a bowl $7.50 And soft drinks for $3”
“Highly recommended — and dog- and baby-approved! We had such a fantastic time at Fabrics in Hobsonville! A special shout-out to the incredible gentleman who seated us. His warm attitude and friendly accommodation set the tone for a relaxed and enjoyable visit. The ambience is just stunning — stylish yet cozy, with a great vibe that makes you want to stay longer. We paid $84 for two dishes and two drinks but the experience, service, and setting really do justify it. If you're looking for somewhere to treat yourself or take visiting friends, Fabrics is definitely worth checking out.”
“Delicious food and coffee. We had a great coffee time here after shopping at Dress Smart Outlet…”
“Great food, great service. There’s a coffee loyalty scheme so get your card stamped and leave it there so you don’t forget next time ;)”
“I had a lovely experience at Cornwell Park Cafe! The coffee was rich and smooth, brewed perfectly – just the right balance of strength and flavor to start the day. I also tried their avocado toast with bread, and it was fresh, vibrant, and satisfying. The avocado was creamy and well-seasoned, sitting on nicely toasted bread that had a great crunch. The presentation was simple yet inviting, and the overall vibe of the cafe was cozy and relaxed. A great spot to enjoy a quiet breakfast or catch up with a friend. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area!”
“Enjoy a delicious breakfast in the lap on nature with greenery all around. Perfect place to sip a coffee after a good walk in the Auckland domain.”
“I have been to this venue twice now. On the most recent visit I had the Thunder burger. I like the atmosphere and the low-key concerts they host. The staff are friendly and efficient. I will continue to attend the concerts and enjoy the food at this cafe'.”
“The staff were so brilliant: it was really busy pre FIFA game and they were all very cheerful, efficient and upbeat. Lovely people.”
“Went in for a coffee and got served by the small red haired girl. Super lovely girl made our experience enjoyable and made an awesome coffee! Looking forward to returning and getting the same level of customer service again.”
“I was visiting from Canada earlier in 2025 & met 2 gals, Jan and Jill at Cafe 180 Degrees. They were enjoying what seemed like a lovely breakfast. We chatted a bit from our tables & they invited me over. I loved the coffee and the egg dish which I ordered. Jan & Jill & I, then met once a week at Cafe & Bistro 180. I highly recommend the food there (loved the fish and Chips!) & will re-visit the Cafe the next time that I travel to N.Z. Sylvia”
“Had brunch there for the first time and loved it. For those who aren’t aware, it used to be called Mayfair theatre in the 1900s and you’ll be able to catch some of its history in the cafe. We had the Breakfast Special and it was perfect and a bonus to it was a well brewed coffee. Service was excellent and we exchanged a few chats along the way. The fireplace kept the cafe warm and toasty but not too heated. Lots of street parking available which adds to the convenience. This place also does discounts on the Entertainment Book or First Table bookings.”
“We very much enjoyed our dining experience at Lone Star Petone. The food was excellent and the servers very friendly.”
“The best breakfast/ brunch spot in Porirua! We had the veggie breakfast and chilli oil scrambled eggs, food was very well done and tasted great. 100% recommended.”
“Very friendly service from the little bubbly Asian lady, that made our day better after the disappointment of 15% surcharges for public holdays and thinking we wouldn't get a coffee and breakfast. No surcharge, thats a bonus, the coffee was good as was the food.”
“I'm on a quest to find the best cheese scone in Christchurch. Someone recommended me this cafe, and let me tell you.... this is my sixth scone for review and you are now top of my list! Truly the best cheese scone in Chch. It's really the flavour that makes it so good. I think a lot of places focus more on texture which is not a bad idea, but it's gotta be well rounded. This scone has it all. I'd love to come back and try the gluten free one. Coffee was also amazing. The two ladies, one on till and one on coffee, were both incredible as well and had such lovely vibes. 10/10 experience”
“Ordered our hot chocolate. We were going to get a cheesescone each, but there was only one left. So decided against it. Got our hot chocolates, just as we were leaving a fresh bat h came out. We should have asked but didnt. Excellent service and hot chocolate was one of the best we have had.”
“The best coffee in my 2 weeks coffee experience in Dunedin! The barista girl was very friendly and she knows what she is doing. My coffee was perfectly strong, smooth and delicious. Lemon muffin was yum too!”
“Fantastic local cafe, great breakfast, clean toilets, a perfect place to stop on our travels south.”
“Clean bakery, friendly staff and excellent coffee!!!”

“Its a food shop in a commercial/industrial area. if you are busy like they are its a good sign the food is good and well priced. update 5/4/24 still awesome.. why change a great thing update for google 16/7/24 same as above, taken quite a liking to their burgers, atm 7.50!! and rather filling.. VERY tasty.. but... have napkins handy... its going to get messy... (in an awesome and delicious way.. if other staff stare... grunt with satisfaction!!)”
“Fantastic staff, amazing food, great prices. I have zero complaints. Well worth the money spent! I had the french toast - photo :)”
“What an extra ordinary experience! We went here due to the reviews - with one saying they considered this better than Amisfield. We agree 100% - this is a little gem in Alexandra - and a destination in it's own right! The Venison was superb, the duck next level and the Bread and butter pudding topped it off! A lovely ambiance, matched with wonderful service. You must go here!”
“Great cafe, my go to lunch place, good food for a good price, and friendly staff”
