“By far the best liquor store in the Hutt. Staff are absolutely lovely and are super helpful!, always asking how you are and if you’d like recommendations. Prices are consistently great, and some of the deals are perfect especially during the Christmas months. Store looks lovely too, bottles are clean, neat and tidy, it’s perfect!. Selection is also very vast which is amazing. If I could rate this store higher I would, Definitely worth your while!”
“Great place, great people. If you live in Totara Park, you won't need an explanation, these people are always friendly, shops always clean and well stocked. Often no need to go to the supermarket ;)”
“Awesome service, and one of the brothers there hooked us up with a box when we got some beautiful CJs Hangis (yum as).”
“Friendliest staff around. Always a pleasure visiting this place”
“Best coffee, amazing homemade food and friendly service. It's always warm and cosy in there too. Consistently delicious!”
“You might need to sit outside or at an open area at night. When cold, take a warm jacket in case you need to sit in these areas. Food is delicious. Had WoP”
“Ordered a takeaway lamb vindaloo and garlic naan at 9.15pm on a Tuesday. Had several warnings about how spicy the curry was (ordered indian hot). It was the best curry I have ever eaten and the perfect spice level - thank you!”
“Our family loves Spice Kitchen's Butter Chicken! Upper Hutt has some amazing Indian restaurants but theirs is my favourite. Has the mango chicken tonight, it was yum! Not very sweet and overpowering like others I've had! Thank you!”
“Good service, kind & reasonable prices. Definitely the best in wainuiomata I've had. Recommended to my family”

“A lovely cafe on Jackson St with heaps of cabinet food and full menu available. Portions are huge so do take that into consideration if you’re a light eater. Daily specials are often changing on the blackboard. Extremely friendly service and dogs are allowed at the rear of the cafe. It does get busy on weekend mornings so bookings are essential. Lots of parking but be prepared for a wee stroll if it’s busy.”
“Love popping into Fahrenheit. Staff are great, coffee is always on point and food is delicious. Whether you’re after coffee and a slice or breakfast/lunch definitely check out this cool little cafe.”
“I grabbed dinner for takeaway from Li’s Cafe for my birthday. absolutely delicious! The food was packed really well and tasted just like home. Super comforting, full of flavour, and the service was lovely and friendly. Highly recommend if you're after a warm, home-style meal!”
“It’s hard to find good coffee without the acidic aftertaste, but they get it just right here. The barista is excellent, and the coffee quality is top-notch. We’ll definitely be back!”
“Amazing range of produce, they are so kind and friendly. They have unique products you can only get there so I will definitely be back!”
“Good service, kind & reasonable prices. Definitely the best in wainuiomata I've had. Recommended to my family”
“Good food, friendly service, and plenty of seating. Also, I had the cinnamon donut and it was similar to the donuts you get in LA. Light and airy. I feel like the donuts I’ve had in Wellington have been kind of dense.”
“The best dairy in Wellington the have so many options to choose from with lollies, chocolate, fizzy drinks etc. The staff are so friendly. I left my eftpos card at the store and the next day I went back and I got it. I am very grateful for Ziggy's Diary!”
“It's been a while since I've called into Coco Kai, but they always deliver on a yummy meal. The spareribs were practically falling of the bone & delicious. The Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich with curly fries went down a treat with our Fantas to wash it all down.”
“Nice local pub. Drinks were good, staff were friendly, and the food was fast, hot, and tasty.”
“Best Falafel I have tried so far. They have the most delicious ice cream. My daughter loved it.”
“Highly recommend tandoori chicken and biryani. Tandoori chicken is very juicy. Vege biryani has got good chunk of paneer. Very friendly service by the owner. Highly recommend”
“Great local fish and chip shop, with great value for money - particularly with the "special packs". Always lovely people. Aside from the special packs, also solidly rate the "super burger" :) Great "fish and chip shop"-style burger which is very solid. Many thanks from us :) Keep being awesome”
“Best fish and chips and burger in the town yumyum”
“Generous portions, great prices and friendly service. Great chip shop in Naenae, excellent value.”
“A surprise find in Jackson st Petone. A really nice well laid out restaurant, friendly helpful staff and a great range of Thai food available. The servings were a generous size and very tasty. My wife is a Thai chef and she was impressed. The priceing is resonable with our two main meals and a drink costing $45. Happy to recommend Smile Elephant and will be visiting again when we head to Welly. We went back and I got the spare ribs and chips, my wife curried chicken noodle bowl. ❣️”
“Me and my family come by every so often. The food is always good and the staff are lovely. They've got a good range of drinks and desserts as well, although for the most part we stick to the dinner menu. Highly Recommend”
“Enjoyed an absolutely delicious lunch with a glass of French Chardonnay at Tartines Cafe while visiting Eastbourne. It was a nice relaxed atmosphere seated in their covered courtyard on a beautiful sunny winters day. The staff were friendly and attentive. Tartines welcome dogs which was an added bonus as we had driven out to Eastbourne to take her for a walk. We also noticed they had a lovely selection of frozen takeaway meals so we popped back on our way home and bought a couple of delicious looking soups that are very reasonably priced. Highly recommend.”
“Visited the Cafe and exhibitions today. The Cafe food and coffee was top quality, and the exhibition spaces are well set out. The art works were suitably challenging, made us think and ponder, which good art should do! Highly recommend a visit.”
“Lovely store. Well laid out, spacious, good lighting, good range of products, friendly staff. We are just visiting the area for a short time so could not buy much but my daughter was pleased to find VerMints (the ginger mint flavour, which I was first introduced to by a friend in the US and they can be hard to find in NZ), coconut water, and Proper Crisps corn chips (which can be hard to find in our home town). We also got some Clipper tea advent calendars for her and her sister later this year.”
