Great portion sizes and absolutely delicious fish and chips! This is my local and have visited a couple times now but it's definitely my go too now when I get fish and chips. Not too greasy either which is always a bonus
Best fish and chips I have ever had. Moved out this way 7 months ago from ChCh and the food here is better than any F&C shop we've tried back in town. Consistency is on point, which is very hard to achieve with this kind of food. Please keep up the good work.
This lil chinese boy served me and he was a friendly fella asked me about my day and had great customer service!!!! good kumara chips, good fish, good hot dog, good jam rap, good onion rings, good nuggets, good deep fried mussels, good blue cod!!! fed a familty of 25. my baby boy enjoyed the choc donut very much had to go back twice in one week. PLEASE COME HERE

Took another chance on them as they are the only fish and chip place for a while, got a scoop and a half and came home to find not even half a scoop and unsalted. the rest of the order was correct but seeing as we paid for a scoop and a half and got 25 chips we won’t be going back. Had to venture to Rangiora to get more to feed us all. Third time this has happened.
A great find in North Canterbury! super tasty light and crispy batter for the fish. we've been searching for a shop this good for a while. crumbed fish just right too. Chips have consistently been crisp and fluffy on the inside. Kumara chips are a treat worth trying (now a regular on our menu).
Absolutely shocked by the dismal amount of chips, $85 order, 5 scoops and 3 under 8 year olds ran out of chips, very well cooked,but very disappointed with the quantity
I use to rave about this place but sadly over time the food quality & quantity has continued to decline & tonight's meal was the last straw for my family after waiting 45mins only for it to taste terrible, this saddens me as I do find their customer service really good over all. Nowhere near enough chips in the scoops & all food very much over-cooked. The last 2 times I asked for extra chicken salt & got none at all. I generally don't post negative reviews but I don't want others to travel to the only fish & chop shop in the area only to be dissapointed.
This has been our favourite fish and chip shop since it opened, always beautifully cooked and delicious fish and chips. Haven't been for a while but went last week and was surprised to see it under new ownership. I wish them well but this time the batter was heavy and greasy, the orange roughly not as beautifully tender and flakey as usual and the chips were soggy, not at all crispy. I hope this was a one off and the magic touch that the previous owners had, has not been lost.
