Thai Passion Beachlands runs with a simple, bistro‑style menu and a relaxed pace. Views add a quiet lift to the visit. Packaging keeps things in good shape to go. A sensible spend for the spread. Plates offer plenty without weighing things down.
Food was great. I have quite a high tolerance for spice. When asked if they could make me cry. Not only did they make the food extra spicy, they gave me a little pot of extra chilli, should I require. It was definitely spicy. I’ll be back.
It was pretty gross unfortunately :( I had two mouthfuls of the takeaway pad Thai and I couldn’t eat anymore and threw ir out. It tasted off. I’ve eaten ALOT of pad Thai so am familiar with how it should taste. My mother also tried it and couldn’t even finish the mouthful. Also I waited an hour and a half for my meal.. poor girls at the counter seemed very stressed and had ALOT of angry customers including the customers in the restaurant AND nearly every single takeaway customer that came in. Potentially understaffed, which I can sympathise with. Just moved to Beachlands so was hoping that this was going to be my weekly go to :(
Amazing food, amazing taste, amazing staff, everything is just amazing, will definitely recommend all to try when you are around Beachlands.
Had a delicious dinner At 45 by Thai Passion. Service was quick and friendly. Food tasted really fresh and nicely presented. The fresh spring rolls were yummy with lots of fresh ingredients. The tropical fried rice were perfectly seasoned. We could see and taste every ingredients in the dish. This place is definitely my go-to Asian restaurant in the neighborhood.
Our favourite local Thai place, we’ve absolutely loved everything we’ve had here, the curry puffs are great, serving sizes are generous, and everything is good value for money. Big orders don’t phase them and they can easily have a smallish order ready in 15 mins if it’s not a Friday or Saturday. Dine-in or takeaway available.

Ambience is great and food is delicious! A rare gem in the Beachlands/ Maraetai area. Special shout out to the Duck Curry wowee 10/10!
Nice and simple menu and the pad Thai was really good but... the Pork Spare Ribs in honey sauce was AMAZING! Tender and the sauce was just right. Good work!
