There’s also a good seating area and easy parking off the main road at the rear via Cargill St. This facility requires a Liquid Laundry card, but can be used all over NZ without the hassle of coins or tokens. Within each Liquid laundry there are instructions on how to obtain a card, or add credit onto an existing card. So easy.”

The range of stuff in there is good and if they don’t have it on hand they get it in for you. The credit system is great for when spending it’s essentially free money when you spend money and helps you buy those small things like extra cans of paint or $20-$30 off your next big purchase like oil changes or servicing.”

“Brought in a 2005 vintage Casio GW-1401D G-Shock Tough Solar watch to have the battery replaced and was very pleased with the result. Runs like new, and they even went out of their way to clean it, and I will say it looks as good as a well-worn 20-year-old watch is going to get - they did an excellent job cleaning it. Also, I'm not sure why people are complaining about the battery replacement costs being expensive - $95 is very reasonable considering the rechargeable battery in these Casio units often costs 30-40 odd dollars a pop, is not readily available, and of course, there's the excellent cleaning job they did on it. I'm very pleased with the result to say the least!”

“Today my day was made when I went into the Godfreys in Tristram street! My vacuum hadn’t been working properly so I took it in expecting to have to pay a large amount for a service. I was pleasantly surprised when the staff member took to my needs straight away and started dealing to my vacuum. He gave it a thorough clean and fixed the problems within 10 minutes. I was happy to pay for his help but didn’t charge me. He also gave me information about how to care for my vacuum properly that I wasn’t aware of!
