“It's our first time, it was for a birthday party, live band was so awesome we enjoy and loved it alot, food was also delicious and fresh, totally recommended for small party, family functions or any occasions, it's our new venue to look at when we have our next celebrations. Customer service from one of the waiters and the Band, was so good, beautiful decor and settings.”

“I made an online order and unfortunately a few items were damaged in transit. I called Nisbets to arrange a replacement and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. “This is the best Sushi place in Pōneke! Amazing fresh options. If not made, you can request an 8pc of many types, something for everyone. Katsu bowl is tasty, large, very fresh, and great value (especially compared to competitors). They offer $10 off for every 10 stamps on a card (1 stamp= $10) so if you go frequently it is basically 10% off. Staff are extremely helpful, kind, and friendly. Would definitely recommend if you want to support a local business while getting amazinh service and a great deal for yourself too!”

My last visit I was served by Selina who was amazing and went out of her way to help me, very impressed by her professional, friendly and helpful manner. Anything ordered online has arrived very promptly and never any issues if I need to exchange it. Love their clothes, always a great variety and good quality. One of my favorite stores.”

I said no one seems to have navy sandals and she immediately asked if I had seen ones on the website and showed them to me. I pondered for a day as also saw they were in a powder blue colour. “The two indian brothers that run this place are very attentive and professional, and service is top-notch. I've been a few times and rate it as one of the best Indian cuisine (& Thai fusion mix) curry houses on the north shore. Food is outstanding, has a very tasty and subtle blend of spice and melt-in-your mouth meat and crisp veg, and is now our favorite place to relax and have a kingfisher on tap. There is also another place upstairs, above them thats always quite busy, which I don't rate at all. Right next to the sea, good for a walk off them superb and delicious calories afterward.”

I ordered the Tamil Nadu–style chicken curry with butter naan, and it was absolutely delicious — full of authentic flavor and perfectly cooked. But what truly made my visit special was the kindness and humility of the manager. When I was about to leave, it started raining heavily. Seeing that, he kindly offered to drop me wherever I needed to go. Even when I said I would wait outside, he came again and genuinely insisted on giving me a ride in his car. It’s rare to find such good food paired with such a good-hearted person. The manager’s care and hospitality made me feel truly valued as a guest. I highly recommend Spice Avenue to anyone looking not just for a great meal, but also a warm and memorable experience.”

“Crazy Sushi is my go to number 1 lunch spot! The sushi is so good, tasty and flavourful (my favourite is the tuna - but get in quick because they’re usually all gone by 12pm!) and Angela is the absolute best - her superstar customer service and smile never goes un-noticed. As a regular she always remembers my order, even down to the extra soy sauce packet which sets crazy sushi apart from the rest. Would definitely recommend crazy sushi!”
