“I live in Tauranga and know the best places for food and coffee. I have visited Delicacy Cafe many times over the past year and I honestly think they are one of the best cafes in town. I’m fussy on coffee and they get it right every time. Their food is always fresh, with perfectly balanced flavours and a good variety if you have a large group. I like that they’re always trying something new unlike other cafes around town. The owner and staff are always welcoming but so efficient. It’s so unassuming yet that adds to its appeal. You’ll notice that it’s full of locals who enjoy its relaxed happy atmosphere. Keep up the great work Delicacy. See you soon.”

“All the staff are very friendly and welcoming and take their jobs seriously. The place is clean, tidy and has a great atmosphere. I usually eat in the separate area upstairs which is a more quieter , away from the hustle and bustle. Also there is a great little spot for young children to play while you eat. Their french toast dish is presented beautifully and very satisfying as it comes with bacon as well. Our favourite is the potato hash, it's a very generously sized dish with varying textures and tasty complementary flavours. Their blueberry cheesecake is the perfect balance of real fruit, textures and richness and flavour. With amazing customer service to boot - This is a Onehunga Gem!”

“Fantastic café! Some of the friendliest staff I’ve ever encountered. We were visiting from out of town with our 6-month-old, and they made us feel incredibly welcome and accommodated. Although we only stopped in for a quick drink before heading to the airport, I tried some of their recommended food, and I wasn’t disappointed. The chicken bao were fresh, perfectly seasoned, and light—not heavy like some can be. The atmosphere is stylish, modern, with a bit of an industrial vibe, which is right up my alley. Coffee is great and make sure you get a price of the ginger crunch slice to take home, it’s topped with pistachios and crystallised ginger and it’s to die for. The taro and fish with coconut cream was fire, the fried pork buns were good and the panikekes were good too. Oh and the nice lady that served me gave me the fish treat for free - fa'afetai lava!”
