Delicious lunch with very good service. I got the wellness bowl which was very filling and beautifully presented with well balanced flavours and textures. The coffee was delicious - a bit strong for my taste but I know most people would prefer that. Highly recommend this little cafe.
This is my favorite cafe in Hawke's Bay, bar none. I went there for the first time this week and then went there two days in a row. If there is no problem, I think I will go there every day for breakfast or afternoon tea. The blueberry muffins and croissants are very good. Next, I will try more breads. As for the coffee, the quality may be different due to different people making it, but overall it is still very good.
Lovely staff and great selection of cabinet food as well as a menu to order from. Not much space for my pram inside so I sat outside and immediately they offered to turn the space heater on for us which was a nice touch. Food and coffee were delicious. Will definitely be back! I couldnt see a ramp anywhere and lifted my pram up the front step but unsure if there is another way of getting in

Brilliant cafe with awesome food and friendly staff. You can see they know their regulars really well. Portuguese tarts are amazing and I really love the egg sandwiches (something really easy to make but so many places mess up). If I can beat the lunch rush to get here for a Masala Dosa it's a great day.

It's 2021 and it's still hard for me to find a decent cafe in Hastings, where its chefs are creative, put their heart and soul into their food and that serve delicious more than 1 vegan option. But there are one or two cafe gems here in this bustling growing city that really shine through, CoLlab Cafe is one of them. This cafe is not all about serving to please the latest trend or fad diet, but to serve delicious wholesome food, where most of their meals are vegetarian or vegan and to do it well. Today I tried their Tofu & Winter Vegetable Curry $10 lunch special, with was served hot with 2 flakey Wholemeal Roti flat breads on the side. It was sweet, savoury & warmly spiced. The Vegetables were Sweet potato, Pumpkin, Red & Yellow Peppers, Carrots, Onions, Celery with Crumbled Tofu, Cilantro in a light mild to medium spiced coconut curry gravy. Delicious & not heavy, which meant I could continue to work the afternoon away without a carb crash. Great value! Thanks CoLab team!
