“Been to this place for many years. Always awesome. Always satisfied. No surprise that there are always busy. On our last visit, unbeknown to us that the wait staff forgot about our food order. An observant manager spotted us looking around and checked on us. Quickly sorted the missing order. Come to apologize multiple times. We assured them that it’s all good. No problems. These things happened. The manager insisted not to charge us for the coffee. Wow. Not many managers and or restaurants would do this. 5 stars indeed.”

“Here there after seeing the name on Google Maps and liked the description! The actual experience was much much better. We were able to choose a quieter room but still full of colour like the rest. My food choice had avocado in it with peas - absolutely yummy. The wine was ambrosial! Servings are not huge which we appreciated but the flavours and textures were just succulent!”

“We went for lunch on Saturday for the first time. The service was very good, the staff was super friendly and kept us informed about how to order when ready and how long the food will take. Generous portions. I had the fish burger and the fish was fresh and overall not too oily. My partner had the beef burger and liked it despite not being a fan of brioche bun but it did not fall apart when eating. The place is clean and the decor and venue are quite cool. Not too far from Hamilton but it feels like an outing in the countryside. And good to have the large carpark.”

“Staff are some of the friendliest I have come across in any cafe. Great relaxing atmosphere and super chill space to chat or just do some work online etc. I want to recommend Charday (I can't remember how to spell her name properly sorry), she was so so kind and sweet. I love their massive bowl coffees, last for ages and good value. One of my fav cafes and atmospheres in Hamilton as far as cafes go.”

The combination of grilled halloumi, falafel, rice, and the creamy sauces on top was just perfect — rich in flavor, fresh, and beautifully presented. The hummus and tzatziki were authentic and full of taste, and the bread was soft and warm, perfect for dipping. The manager was incredibly friendly and welcoming. “I popped in this morning while waiting for my car to be serviced down the road - staff uber-fine with me buying a coffee and setting up my laptop for a couple hours to get some study done - the blackboard menu won me over for a toastie as well - 5/5 so far as toasties go. Overall just a nice semi-rural down-to-earth welcoming vibe and I now have a cafe to visit whenever I'm in Waimauku with time to stop by.”

Although they don't have chips/fries, their rosti is definitely the better replacement. Very accessible being adjacent to the train station as well as having plenty of parking spaces. The public playgrounds next-door make this a great option to bring your children along.”

“I come here almost every morning. Great food and coffee, nice staff, kind and helpful. Pet friendly. I must say recently this Month an elder man had an episode (seizure, heart attack, I don’t know exactly what it was) and dropped all the tableware. The staff quickly gave him space and supported him. They cleaned it up the place, called the ambulance and the owner/ manager kept the old man’s company talking to him and calming him until the ambulance arrived. It’s not only a business but a great place with incredible human beings.”

“Honestly don’t know what all the people on here are talking about, we went in tonight for dinner and had the most amazing service. Our waiter Eddie was absolutely amazing, great energy, playful jokes and some amazing service. He made the entire experience enjoyable. On top of that the cocktails and food were 10/10 I got the steak burger and it was huge!!!!! I was struggling to fit it all in my mouth but it was worth it cause the flavours were just phenomenal. Definitely recommend popping in here and having dinner it’s a great spot”
