“We had a wonderful lunch at White Ginger Cafe. We chose to share a plate of corn fritters and a side of Hash fingers. The food is always presented so beautifully. The setting is lovely, nestled within Pacifica Garden Centre in Papamoa. You can eat inside the cafe or in the outdoor area within the garden centre.”

The combination of grilled halloumi, falafel, rice, and the creamy sauces on top was just perfect — rich in flavor, fresh, and beautifully presented. The hummus and tzatziki were authentic and full of taste, and the bread was soft and warm, perfect for dipping. The manager was incredibly friendly and welcoming. He made sure everything was served fresh and checked in to see if I was enjoying my meal — a nice personal touch that made the experience even better. You can really feel the passion for good food and customer satisfaction here. Definitely a place I’d recommend to anyone looking for a hearty, flavorful Mediterranean meal and genuine hospitality. “Don't judge a book by its cover!! The place needs some love visually BUT.. Food was delish and so was the coffee! I had pancakes with blueberries and banana which were chunky and went down a treat, so much so that my toddler took most of them! hubby had eggs bene which got a big thumbs up too :) The lady was so friendly and so patient and kind to my extremely energetic toddler, made the whole trip better meeting her !”

“I have been going to this little cafe in the mall for quite a few years and the people that owned and worked there were really friendly and lovey. The food and coffee were always great. Recently it has had new owners and I can say it is really lovely to see the service, great coffee and food have not changed. They are super friendly and make a delicious coffee. This will still my little go to even just for a coffee when walking around the mall.”

I recommend the chia banana bread (traditional banana bread flavour without the heaviness) and the smokey ham sandwiches are delicious.”

“One of the most chilled out cafes in Kepa Road, I have been here several times and I’m writing a review having a wonderful brunch. I came to the cafe after a good walk, and was craving for a nice glass of fresh juice which they had, I had the Apple, Orange and Carot pressure juice which was on stop at that moment, the flavors complement very well and only improvement for me in this, if it was a bit more chilled. Then I had a lovely chat with a friend of mine and we had some food. I was looking at the food menu and saw French Toast and was immediately tempted and ordered that. The moment it arrived I was so grilled as the plating was done very nicely. With some fresh fruits and berries and a good portion of syrup. I’m very happy with having this cafe near by which I will definitely visit more often.”
