   John & Carol were fabulous hosts. The apartment has quality furnishings, and the bed, is just dreamy!! The living area is spacious with beautiful rural views, hard to believe you are only a few minutes' drive into the village of Havelock North. The personal touches that Carol offers from the goodies in the pantry to the extras in the bathroom, it's just perfect and the location is idyllic! Highly recommend and can't wait to go back.

   I have stayed there with my husband on 3 separate occasions and enjoyed the Tranquillity and the views. It has been a pleasure to drive up and down the tree lined driveway - Park into a courtyard which has the entrance to your own 1st floor spacious apartment. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, the pheasant call woke us in the morning to beautiful Hawkes Bay weather. Then we packed the car to go trout fishing on the nearby rivers. A day of golf, then unfortunately we had to go home. Each trip being much of the same routine. The hosts always ensure your needs are satisfied, lovely couple.
