“On a tour with the NZ Founders Society, we visited Duart House, built in 1882. What an amazing old house with so much interesting history and a museum of historic artifacts, furniture, paintings, tools, bric-a-brac, etc. Absolutely loved it and so appreciated the presentation by the ladies who are so involved with this precious property. WELL WORTH A VISIT!!”

“This was an amazing stay for 3 nights in Rose. The rooms are clean and warm, also a well kitted full kitchen. The heated floors in the toilet were a really nice surprise. Privacy was something i wanted and it truely delivered. Amazing, we will be coming back!”

“The large cottage was lovely and very well appointed. Was not lacking any amenities. Our weather wasn’t that warm so didn’t get to sit outside. The king size bed was so comfortable! I enjoyed a bath (both nights) in the separate bathroom. The bathing products were awesome. The cottages are a bit out of the way but such a great coffee place down the road. So you need to drive a bit to restaurants and wineries which we didn’t mind. There are bikes available to rent onsite. Overall this was one of our favourite places we stayed while in NZ. We loved the country feel but the modern look. Annabel had left fresh eggs which we cooked up for breakfast one am. Lovely!”

“Superb location central in Napier with beautiful sea views enjoyed from the room or on the balcony. Great bedroom, with comfortable bed. Spacious and well equipped with homely needs and an excellent stereo system. Little touches like coffee, tea and milk. This was one of favourite places we’ve stayed at here in NZ on our travels. Bike trips out to the vineyards etc. Tourist office directly opposite the apartment”

“Fabulous establishment in CBD Napier with the added availability of a wonderful 'community' room for small group workshops or meetings, providing tables/ chairs ( set up for your requirements prior to use) ,air con / whiteboard / wifi and a great side room with all kitchen needs provided for the day. Plus the added bonus of proximity to ease of car parking and many fabulous cuisine places and Civic Square Park just out the door for lunch.”
