   Within a month we ended up having 3 stays at Lawn Cottages & honestly the experiences were excellent. We stayed in the Pohutukawa cottage twice & the Kowhai cottage. We are a family of 4 adults with 2 being intellectually handicap & like any accommodation away from home we have specific requirements which Janie helped me with & reassured me about when I made the bookings. One thing we discovered after our first stay in the Pohutukawa cottage was we needed handrails for my brother to access the outside steps into & out of the cottage so as it was a health & safety issue (he had 2 falls down the stairs taking me with him on one of them) I mentioned it to Janie & within a couple of days & before our next visit two rails were built which we were extremely grateful for. It was really lovely having two bathrooms (a real treat for us) & there were plenty of towels, etc. We found the open plan layout great, the kitchen was perfect & it was a lovely surprise to see a loaf of bread, a bottle of milk & some eggs in the fridge. The beds were comfortable, there was a lot of natural light & there was plenty of space for the four of us & my brother's walker. We did use the laundry room & that was good. Thank you Janie & team for a wonderful stay. I will definitely recommend Lawn Cottages to family & friends & we'll be back.

   Rose cottage is perfect for us. Such a quiet location yet so close to Napier, Hastings and the little town of Clive. Cottage spotlessly presented. Could not fault the cleanliness. Some basic supplies in fridge like eggs, milk, bread, butter and spreads. Nothing has been left out for the weary traveller. The deck was superb for happy hour drinks and the bbq was spotless and greatly appreciated. The garden was full of birds, the roses blooming. The free laundry facilities (also spotless) were very much appreciated also! Will recommend Lawn Cottages to friends and family and to our RAA travel consultant back in South Australia. 10/10

   We had a lovely stay in the Pohutukawa cottage. The cottage was spacious and had fully equipped kitchen. Especially nice was the barbeque which we used to make nice homemade meal. It was nice surprise to see the cottage had Netflix subscription for guests to enjoy. The bed was not the most comfortful, but it was good enough.

   This was an amazing stay for 3 nights in Rose. The rooms are clean and warm, also a well kitted full kitchen. The heated floors in the toilet were a really nice surprise. Privacy was something i wanted and it truely delivered. Amazing, we will be coming back!

   We just stayed for the 3rd time at the Lawn Cottages. We are a family of 4 and always find our stay perfect. The cottages are pristine and welcoming. The bedding is crisp and beautiful, everything is immaculate and so clean. The peaceful rural location is so relaxing. Highly recommend the Lawn Cottages.

   We stayed in Magnolia Cottage over Labour Weekend 2021...FANTASTIC! Beautiful gardens, excellent size, every amenity was provided for. It was clean, comfortable, and the MOST RELAXING weekend I have had in a long time. For price, value, and sheer enjoyment I give Lawn Cottages a 10/10! Thank you so much!
