“I found they made authentic desserts and visited again with my partner. I was stunned once more! The sandwich was massive and full of fresh ingredients. The salami, parsleys, ham, cheese, baby spinaches and handmade bread! The best ever! I couldn't even finish it over there and fetched it for dinner as well. When it comes to dessert, I've tried cardamom roll, pan au chocola, brown butter cookie, mascapone chocolate tart. None of them disappointed me. Every single thing was authentic. You can see different range whenever you visit then you can't be sick of their menu. Especially, brown butter cookies, it's fabulous when you have it a bit cool. The butter flavour is flooring at every bite and half the cookie is chocolate. Highly recommended and will definitely visit again”
“This hotel is wonderful! Stunning rooms and excellent staff. Our thanks and well wishes to dear Nell, Larissa, Conrad and the Frenchies, Ceclia and Fabien. Dare I say it, we felt like friends for a week!. And to Elias the restaurant manager, thank you for de-icing my cars windows. Wishing you all the very best. Vikki, Ant and Harper.”
“- Welcoming and patient staff. It was our first time and the lady waited until we made up our minds. - Halloumi cheese sandwich. It was fresh and the sauce on top wasn´t spicy whatsoever. Good option to share. - Granola bowl. Surprised me a lot because because it was a huge portion (of granola). However, it came with just a tiny cup of yougurt, some milk, banana and strawberry jam. In my opinion, the should add an extra portion of yogurt. - 1 restroom available. - Great atmosphere. Good place to read. - Outdor tables are available.”
“Staff were friendly & answered our questions patiently. Coffee was delightful! We loved it, both the espresso & the milk were of great quality. Personally I loved my Mexican Iced Coffee — it was unique & delicious. Would recommend this place! It’s decently affordable too.”
“We went here for dinner tonight and the food was amazing, we especially loved the eye fillet, fried chicken and pork pieces! The hazy beer I had on tap was really nice too and the dessert was fantastic. Great service also, the staff were really lovely. Overall was one of the best restaurants I've been to in Dunedin, will definitely be back!”
“exceptional cafe - great coffee and delicious interesting food. Was almost impossible to decide what to order because I wanted the whole menu… will just have to visit again!”
“Absolutely love this place. Have come for multiple breakfasts and a dinner. A simple gozleme (try the egg or harissa chicken!) is a cheap breakfast that's so delicious. Their bread is made by hand everyday. Good coffee as well! A medium dinner plate between two of one meat (beef cheeks!!) and four veggies/salads, with some fresh pita bread and hummus was enough and great value. Can't rate this place more. It's just the kinda place you wanna come back to again and again.”

“Went as an international visitor and I think I paid $35 for the whole experience. They have so many exhibit including NZ/Dunedin early history, Maori, "Animal Attic" (mostly animal taxidermy), Maritime (ship models) and People of the World (random assortment of cultures - they even have a mummy). The Planetarium was alright but I went to the Night Sky one which was rather boring to be honest. The science/kids section was fun but a lot of the exhibit needs to be refreshed as they have seen a lot of use. The butterfly garden was very interesting as it is something you don't see often. They also have a cafe onsite but I did not try it. I spent around 3hrs trying to see everything but this place definitely need a few visits if you want to experience everything. My only complaint is that the gift shop does not have many Otago Museum branded things -only magnets and postcard - I was ready to buy more souvenirs, had they had more!”
