Mr Noodles面先生 delivers a Thai-inspired offering that’s straight to the point. Stir-fries keep good heat and snap. A sensible spend for the quality. Sweet‑and‑sour stays balanced and crisp. Takeaway holds up well on the drive.
The fried egg noodles is nice, the minced pork fried noodles okay, no chance to try their signature beef bone noodle soup, sold out. The best part is the big size of the servings, very good value.
If you haven't been and you live in Dunedin your missing out. By far my favorite restaurant in the city, I've recommended Mr Noodle to around 20 people at this point and they've always returned with glowing reviews. After 10+ visits I can also confirm it's consistently excellent. The no2 braised beef noodle soup is spectacular and what I think everyone should try on a first visit. The no6 beef bone noodle soup is my favorite and definitely a great choice if you like to have fun with a meal. Price 10/10 Food 10/10 The line to get noodles here should be going down the street
Cheap, fast, yummy, healthy food. Definitely a must if you’re nearby. Never rated before, never needed to, but these guys are just so good. Free clean filtered water @ the counter too!
The food is lovely, perfectly portioned, the mince fried pork noodles was delicious. The atmosphere is nice and quiet and the service people are really nice. A nice place to go to for a quiet dinner. It gives a really homey and cozy vibe.
Went for dinner after 7pm. Wasn't to busy at with plenty of seating. The braised beef N2 is the dish I tried. The beef is the star of the dish and got about 5 chucks of meat. The noodles had a nice chew. The broth isn't spicy at all and great when you add some vinegar. Overall not bad for the $18 price.
Superb and authentic regional Chinese noodles. The noodles are freshly hand pulled, and the texture is fabulous. We came here twice over a span of a few days. Lovely and friendly proprietor too, who efficiently takes orders, prepares the noodles, and serves. The great thing about the noodles is that they come mild and you can spruce up your dish to your liking with the condiments at the table: chili oil, Chinese black vinegar or light soy sauce. Portions are super generous. Come hungry!
Fantastic delicious food! The noodles are absolutely amazing and the meat is really standout, unbelievably tender. We ordered the braised beef noodle soup and it's one of the best noodle soups we've ever had. The portions are also very large and we took half of our meals home for later. The price is also very good for the quality and portions.
Wooow!! The best noodle soup I've ever had! The handmade noodles are lovely. I would definitely come back if I lived here.
