Great experience to visit this place. Invercargill it’s self beautiful and peaceful city, doesn’t have much to do this place makes visitor must go place. Beautifully managed overall and hand crafted garden with love and care in Invercargill style. Awesome Japanese garden is an extra touch. Kids can enjoy watching Ostrich and lama and other semi domestic animals. Wheel chair friendly and does have bathroom facilities.

A nice and big park to enjoy. You can spend a couple of hours here, including enjoying some tea break at the cafe in the park.

Throughly enjoyed walking around this place. It caters to all age groups and it's free. It has a cafe, animals, plants, sculptures and many more things to look at. Highly recommend

The park is large and the environment is well maintained, suitable for jogging! The air is fresh and there are many animals. They are very cute. Watch them up close (don't feed them). Thank you for such a great park.

Beautiful place to visit. It was a good day when we went, nice sunny day. Kids' parks are there, and toilets are available for the public. There is a cafe area there, too. Free car parking. Overall, it was a very good experience. You can plan a good picnic day with kids there. Always carry a light jacket just in case of rain or wind.

First time there and the size of the place just amazed me. Loved the scenery, peaceful walks and everything else. Especially during Te Matariki event

Queen’s Park in Invercargill is a beautiful and well-maintained park that is definitely worth a visit. The park covers a large area and offers a wide range of attractions and activities for visitors of all ages. One of the highlights of Queen’s Park is the stunning rose garden, which is home to over 1,000 roses of various varieties. This is a great place to take a stroll and admire the beautiful blooms, especially during the summer months when the garden is in full bloom. Another popular attraction in Queen’s Park is the aviary, which is home to a variety of birds including parrots, cockatiels, and budgies. Visitors can watch the birds as they fly around their enclosures and listen to their cheerful chirping. For families with children, the park has a fantastic playground with a range of equipment including swings, slides, and climbing frames. There is also a mini-golf course, a train ride, and a large pond where visitors can feed the ducks. In addition to these attractions, Queen’s Park is also home to a museum, an art gallery, and a cafe. The museum has a fascinating collection of local history exhibits, while the art gallery showcases the work of local artists. The cafe is a great place to grab a coffee or a bite to eat and relax after exploring the park. Overall, Queen’s Park is a great destination for anyone visiting Invercargill. With its beautiful gardens, fun attractions, and range of amenities, it is the perfect place to spend a relaxing day with family and friends.

This park is AMAZING! We spent the afternoon here and the kids had a blast at the playground, aviary and animal sanctuary. Next time we will be back with our bikes and scooters.

This is my favourite park ever. Such amazing grounds. Gorgeous Hoyas in the hot house. Amazing duck ponds. Epic kids playground. So many cool birds and animals to see too! So much to explore and experience!

OMGoodness, where do I begin. How lucky are the local residents to have such a wonderful park in their town. We started our 'early morning walk ritual' and were mesmerised at every turn. A beautifully maintained and manicured masterpiece. It was our checkout day of our trip and we were supposed to be already on our way .. why didn't we find this place earlier. What a wonderful place for EVERYONE! Especially families, fantastic play area and fun equipment (I doubt there's many disgruntled children until it's time to go home). Congrats to each & everyone who works, designs and puts so much love into this masterpiece
