“Been playing sports here since they opened. Different owners over the years & price increases as well. Good carparking, Any accidents sorted fast. Fun nights and great refs”
“Came to look around the gym based on the council's current $30 promo and Lilli (from the Customer Experience team) was an absolute star. The other council gyms we'd visited had just waved us through independently, which is totally fine, but Lilli went the extra mile, showing us all the equipment, group fitness areas and pools and gave us loads of useful information, which has very much convinced us to join. Thanks again!”
“I loved everything about this space. An old school with a range of different businesses in the old classrooms. The court yard was filled with tables and chairs and a very relaxed vibe to go with it. I had the Eggs Benedict, a delicious coffee and piece of scrumptious slice for the road later. The Bene was that good I haven’t stopped thinking about it. The cabinet was full of healthy options with plenty of gf to. I think I’ve just found my new stop over.”
“Hannah was exceptional, she was super friendly and helpful! Kids loved her, we will definitely be back :)”
“Just been to UC open day with my daughter. She will be attending in 2027. Such a fabulous experience. All the hype of open night delivered in Wellington, re delivered and experienced in campus. Super knowledgeable staff and extraordinarily kind and patient student help. Such a great vibe and so removed from my own experience it makes me want to go back to learning. Can't recommend this Uni any higher.”
“Really beautiful swimming pool! It has a 25m pool, a 20m pool, a hot pool, and a kids' pool. So far, I’ve been there three weekends in a row, and each time I had an entire lane to myself. Such a great swimming experience! Also, the receptionist is super friendly!”
“Great spot, so pleased we have this locally.”
“Parking is congested and very limited. Be aware of bicycles and motorbikes please.”
“My son is enjoying while he is in school and have the opportunity to play with his colleagues. Salisbury Best Start is the best place because it is very neat and clean also very spacious for kids who love to play outdoor.”
“The team here support the local LEGO group, if you're after LEGO, look no further. On multiple occasions I have contacted them to express interest in yet to be released sets. They have taken down my contact details, set the item aside when stock came in, then called me back to let me know it's ready. Kudos to whatever system to they're using to keep track of these requests, as sometimes the products haven't reached NZ until months after my initial contact. To top it all off they even ensure you get your desired minifig in the blind bags. The prices can be a little higher than the likes of Kmart or The Warehouse, but it's worth it.”
“They have excellent staff n the quality of education is great . Very useful The student advisors are very corporative I loved it n Christchurch is very beautiful place If u are in this institute ur the luckiest person dun miss this opportunity . Staff is very good up to the mark”
“Had the beat Americano coffee and cinnamon scroll straight out of the oven. $8 for both! Barista had just taken care of a group of 15 or so students and was very efficient. Perked up this lad while my wife was in hospital. THANK YOU!”
“Peter Dale (Tutor) thank you! 2 day theory was challenging, your method of teaching was professional & your response to students that struggled like myself was rewarding to know that you give that extra time & care to insure the knowledge was understood! I myself am a practical learner & have always struggled with theory, in saying that my practical driving was on point & a "Pass" keep teaching how you teach Pete you are tough, fair & a good tutor. Ka mihi ano ki a koe (thank you again)”
“Good place for a good walking exercise.”
“Unfortunately I had to leave my study very early on for personal reasons but one of the nurses Georgia was so incredibly kind and supportive, she seriously made me feel much better and I can not thank her enough, she is amazing”
“Marist Hockey is a family focussed hockey club that encourages friendship, teamwork and competitive play.”
“Jesse helped me load up my tractor tyres onto my trailer for me. Thanks mate!”
“Wouldnt ride anywhere else, absolute quality instruction with fantastic well cared for horses. They even offer riders the opportunity to compete on their horses which is awesome. You not only learn how to ride, you learn everything from horse mastership, grooming , how to lunge correctly etc.”
“Great place for rugby as it has seats/stand for people to sit on”
“My daughter has been going to Swarm for a couple terms and loves it. The tutor team is supportive, talented, and genuinely care about what they do. They create such a warm, encouraging environment that my daughter looks forward to every class. It’s a great price for the level of quality and care the instructors provide. Being a teen my daughter has struggled with confidence but has grown so much in this because of Swarm. Highly recommend this studio to any parent!”
“I go to this school. It’s a fabulous school and I’m so glad I get to go here. All the teachers are kind and supportive, and all the stundents are very well behaved.”
“My school is the best. Leaving this year :D”
“Great school. The christian values are the same that we learn at home. Recommend and enjoyed this school”
“Our family has been part of Harewood Road Montessori for almost 6 years, with our second child currently attending, and I honestly couldn’t recommend it more. The teachers are warm, friendly, and genuinely attentive to each child’s needs. It’s been wonderful to see how much care they put into helping little ones learn, grow, and gain confidence. Communication with parents is fantastic — we’re always kept up to date through chats, photos, and learning updates. They also take food allergies very seriously, which gives me real peace of mind. The preschool organises lots of fun themed days and cultural celebrations throughout the year. They even had a visit from a police officer recently with police car, and my little one was so excited to tell me all about it! We feel blessed to have found such a wonderful, nurturing place where our children truly thrive.”
“Wildheart Preschool is great! My two nephews and niece attend, and it’s so clear how loved, happy, and settled they are there. The kaiako are kind, nurturing, and genuinely invested in each child. There’s a real sense of community and care, and families are made to feel welcome and valued.”
“Extraordinary super staff. Seriously helpfull and caring .”
“I have been a reliever at many schools in Christchurch over the last 3 years. Parkview is one of my favourites. I have found the children to be respectful, active learners, and it is a pleasure to teach in a school where the staff and children are friendly, supportive and caring. Having a balance of men and women teachers, older experienced teachers and young recently trained teachers provide the children at this school with good role models and educators with a range of skills and knowledge.”
“very nice school, I had a very good experience there, friendly teachers, nice atmosphere. 10/10”
“Waka Huia is the most wonderful place, very child-centred and in a calm/ relaxed/ family environment. Different aged kids all play together, the big kids look out for the little ones, lots of tuakana-teina opportunities. The kaiako are awesome educators, highly experienced and genuinely loving and kind. My daughter has grown a lot under their gentle guidance. She loves the animals (chickens and visiting lambs), outside play year round, cups of tea, dress-ups and treasures (shells, wool) to play with.”
“The staff played a crucial role in my son's transition from his previous Best Start program. Their friendly and welcoming demeanor made the process easy and helped him make new friends. The activities and programs for the kids are well-prepared and provide a lot of useful information for parents. The photos of the activities show that my son has a great time at preschool, and I feel confident and safe leaving him there.”
