“We are so happy with both the nursery and preschool. The teachers show such a genuine and caring interest in my children and are passionate about supporting their learning. My son initially struggled with friendships and the teachers did an amazing job at discussing this with me and supporting him to make friends. I will be sad for his time to end there when he goes to school, but am thankful my daughter can continue on there. I highly recommend Te Whare Rama Balcairn Street!!”

“I had a great experience with SOLE academy. I entered with very little musical experience, some tightness when trying to sing, and no way in hell I’d sing in front of anyone. My vocal coach (Ananda) was very encouraging and built up my confidence. She also had a knack for picking the right thing for me to work on and made it easy for me to understand and improve. After a short stint of lessons I have already gained a lot and singing around the home (which I never used to). The communication and experience from the whole SOLE team was very good and I couldn’t recommend any higher!”

“Both of my boys attend Annabels New Brighton and have since around 1 year old. I feel happy leaving the kids in a safe environment, well staffed & provides great learning and activities to keep them occupied. The teachers are qualified & really build a great rapport with the children.”

“I wasn't overly keen on the little one going to day care, those exhausting years ago. But then the little one started and I was needed to do drop off and pick up increasingly for a while. The staff have some sorta knack with kids. My treasure of a child helps them, even informs them of the time and how to go about the required tasks. They have almost become her second home. She has blossomed so much and learning so much about being a good person, sharing toys beds mat time what ever. Learning about compassion for her class mates. This centre has been the best choice for out little treasure mostly due to the staff their patience under standing and willingness to push for that next step in development. I don't know who will be saddest about the eventual moving on to school the staff the little one or the wife and I.”

The center is run by Kerryn, who is not only professional but is kind, empathetic and went above and beyond to support us as a whanau. The staff are absolutely amazing!! A special shout out to Ayanthi and Tegan who are phenomenal teachers, who have helped my kids thrive and who my kids absolutely love! Five stars for sure!!”

“Our son has just started at Huntsbury Preschool and I couldn’t recommend it higher enough. He has settled in so well and that’s all thanks to the amazing teachers. They have been so kind and nurturing towards him. They really get to know each individual child and their whanau. What I noticed in particular is the wonderful ratios for children to teachers - It is a truly a special place, with beautiful teachers and a gorgeous natural, outdoor setting. We are so happy to have found Huntsbury :)”

“These guys are absolutely amazing. Going to a BJJ gym you never know what you are going to get, a kind gym or a gym filled with ego. This gym was one of the nicest gyms I’ve ever been to. The facility is clean, and well maintained (with amazing art too!). We visited from the United States and we were welcomed as if we’ve been training there for years. Zach was the coach for the night and he couldn’t have been nicer, and he was pretty funny too, with loads of talent to share. The class we attended was absolutely amazing and we had a great time. If you’re searching for a gym, or want to train while away from home, this is the place to go. Thank you guys again for making us feel at home, and for giving us a place to train the sport we love.”

It is so beautiful and I really get a sense of peace so I can focus on my yoga practice, so much nicer than going to a gym as you get the whole experience & much more. The lovely teachers have given me more attention because of the smaller class sizes and they have taken the time to get to know what works best for my body. I couldn't recommend Yoga by Karma enough! What a gem of a studio!”

“I found Canterbury Driver Training School on Facebook page and contacted them for my class 2 driver training. I booked with them for the 22nd of August and they were very understanding to make a payment arrangement for since I did not have a full payment ready for the course. After successfully completing the course, they surprised me with a sponsorship for my class 2 course. The instructors are so fun yet professional at the same time. Scott is an incredible instructor he immediately made me feel at ease behind the wheel and His instructions during the practical test were very clear that I didn’t need to ask him for anything else. On the Other hand, Phil was very patient and made the theory lessons so much fun. He has lots of tips, and made sure I was fully ready before my test. Over the 2 day course, Phil gave me the confidence, coaching me in everything that I needed to correct in order to pass. His advice was incredibly helpful in improving my driving skills and preparing me for the practical driving test and I feel like I am a safer driver now.”

“Over a two week period I have completed the PG1 and PG2 course then passed my Paramotoring course through Parapro - with Dave. The course exceeded my expectations. Over the two week period I observed that Dave is the most experienced instructor in Christchurch (due to his age and time flying) his mannerism is both calming and reassuring, which made him an awesome instructor. I came away with the confidence to continue flying on my own. Hopefully for many years to come. So if its been on your bucket list, give Dave a ring - you won't be disappointed! “Went in to have a one-on-one two hour training session as I hadn't been in the riding seat for about three years. Walked out with my BHST! Steve was absolutely phenomenal. Great sense of humour, made me feel super at ease and confident. He wasn't afraid to hold me accountable when I made silly mistakes, which is exactly what I needed as he could pin point the moments I started overthinking things. He had a great way about him, the session was relaxed, covered all the basics, and when watching back the videos my friend took I hear myself laughing most of the time. Great fun, and Steve was a big part of that. Ornsby better watch out though as I'm devising a plan to steal that blue GN! Highly recommend.”

“I emailed with a hopeful chance that they might accommodate a ride on Christmas day, and was thrilled that they could. Hannah and Kata greeted us and I produced us to our horses. My mother and I are experienced riders, but had never been on Icelandic horses before. We rode along a wetland with black swans, through beautiful pine forests, and along the ocean beach. They were impressive, easily moving through the trails and powerful through the sand. Kata and Hannah even taught us a new gait, the tolt, special to these incredible builds. The speed they could gain on the beach was exhilarating. Definitely not a horse just for kids. Would highly recommend this horse, this route, and this company!”
